"I can't say I agree with the Nightwatcher's methods but at least he is helping to keep the city safe." Alexis says as she is sitting on the couch watching the news with Michelangelo.
"I remember how that used to feel. Busting up syndicates. Sure they had a bunch of guns but they weren't like these guns." Michelangelo says happily as he jumps onto the couch and makes a pose causing Alexis to smile at him.
"Why do you do this to yourself Mikey? Those days are over. Forget them. Get on with your life. Concentrate on your work." Donatello says as he walks by holding a gadget.
"Yeah, yeah. Spoken like a true has-been. If it hadn't been for Mikey then Alexis may not be here right now. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time. He did exactly what we used to do. Defended her. At least the Nightwatcher is defending the city." Raphael says as he is standing on the higher up area before jumping down.
"Well look who woke up. I suppose you think the Nightwatcher is some kind of hero." Donatello says as Raphael walks over to him.
"Come on guys. Let's not start something." Alexis says as Donatello and Raphael ignore her.
"Beats sitting around doing nothing while dirtbags run free." Raphael says.
"I would love to know what it is that you do that's so great. We're contributing around here. Even Alexis is helping us out and she has no reason to. All you do is sleep." Donatello says.
"Yeah I do nothing. You're right. You got me all figured out." Raphael says as he walks around to the other side of Donatello.
"I know that your rogue attitude has been a source of contention to this team. You think fear is the best way to accomplish things but you're wrong." Donatello says.
"First of all this team you speak of doesn't exist anymore. And second of all..." Raphael says as he goes to punch Donatello causing him to drop his tool before the two see Splinter.
"Raphael. Enough." Splinter says as Raphael backs off.
"Heh. I made my point." Raphael says as he begins to walk off.
"That doesn't prove anything. Why couldn't you send him away for training?" Donatello asks as Splinter goes over to him.
"Just let it go Donatello. There's no point in getting angry about it." Alexis says as Donatello looks at her.
"Yeah but Raph doesn't always make walking away easy dudette." Michelangelo says as Alexis looks at him.
"Alexis is right my sons. This home has become like an empty shell. Each of your brothers has strengths and weaknesses. You must learn to be strong when they are weak. If you don't learn to this recognize then all hope is lost for our family." Splinter says as he walks off.
"Still it would be nice to get a break from Raph's attitude." Donatello says as he looks for the tool he dropped.
"Or his temper." Michelangelo says.
"He's still your family guys. We might be able to pick who our friends our but our family is our family." Alexis says as Donatello and Michelangelo look at her.
"Yeah. You're right. Still a pain though." Donatello says as he goes back to working on his gadget.
"How do you put up with it Alexis? Surprises me you haven't stopped coming here because of Raph." Michelangelo says as he sits on the couch.
"I'm not scared of Raph. Besides I'd always be happy to come visit. Plus I love spending time with you." Alexis says as she sits down on the couch.
"I like you being here too Alexis. A lot." Michelangelo says happily.
"And least with you guys don't judge me for my faults though." Alexis says as she smiles.
"I would never judge you. Your differences are beautiful and they're totally awesome." Michelangelo says while blushing slightly.
"Thanks." Alexix says happily.
"Anytime dudette." Michelangelo says as he smiles.
*Timeskip*
Later at night as Alexis is sleeping in wolf form beside Michelangelo on the couch she soon wakes up hearing footsteps before quickly hiding and watching out of sight. Alexis then starts growling lowly before seeing a giant turtle wearing a blue mask walk into the room as she stops growling.
"Huh? Hey.. that kind of looks like Leonardo from the picture Donnie showed me. If he's here then he must finally be back home. Donnie and Mikey will be happy. I guess he wants to speak to Splinter first though." Alexis thinks as she sees Leonardo walk into Splinter's room before laying down.
"Hey Leo's back. Better go say hello before he leaves again." Raphael says as he walks past Donatello causing him to wake up.
"What? Leo." Donatello says as he sees Leonardo and hugs him before Michelangelo wakes up.
"Huh? Leo? Is that really you? I'm not like dreaming am I?" Michelangelo asks as he falls out of the chair before getting up in a hurry.
"No Mikey. You're not dreaming." Leonardo says as Michelangelo hugs him.
"Oh good. I have nightmares about birthday parties. By the way I have someone I want you to meet." Michelangelo says as Alexis smiles seeing the brothers reunited as she goes over.
"Michelangelo who is she?" Leonardo asks as Alexis shifts to human form and goes over to Michelangelo.
"Leo is this our friend Alexis." Donatello says as he gestures to Alexis before she bows politely to Leonardo.
"An awesome friend at that." Michelangelo says happily as Alexis smiles at him.
"It's nice to finally meet you Leonardo. I've heard a lot about you. I apologize for the confusion on my appearance. I am a wolf shifter with elemental capabilities." Alexis says kindly.
"It is nice to meet you as well but how did you meet Mikey?" Leonardo asks.
"I'll tell you later." Michelangelo says as Leonardo looks at him.
"I'm sure you guys have catching up to do so I'm gonna head home. I'll talk to you later Mikey." Alexis says as Michelangelo looks at her.
"Be careful getting back. I can always take you back myself." Michelangelo says.
"I'll be fine Mikey. I promise." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and runs off.
