"My compliments to the chef. Anyone for dessert?" Michelangelo asks as he burps causing Alexis and Splinter to look at him in disgust while at the table.
"No." Alexis, Leonardo, and Donatello say in union.
"Yes." Splinter says as he smiles before the phone rings.
"Cowabunga Carl Party Services. Cowabunga dude. Slow down April. What happened to Raph? We'll be right there." Donatello says as he then leaves with Alexis, Michelangelo, and Leonardo.
*Timeskip*
"Leo. You came back." April says as the group arrives in her's and Casey's apartment.
"Leo." Casey says happily.
"Sorry the reunion isn't under better circumstances." Leonardo says.
"Nice pad kids. Oh hey Raph." Michelangelo says as Raphael is laying on the couch before Donatello begins examining him.
"Well his vital signs seem to be okay. Pupil dilation is normal." Donatello says as he is looking over Raphael.
"Hey Donnie what's that in his shell?" Alexis asks as she sees an object sticking out of Raphael's shell.
"Some sort of stone. Probably obsidian I think." Donatello says as he removes the object from Raphael's shell.
"Well is he gonna be all right?" Leonardo asks as he goes over to Raphael and puts his hand on his back.
"You're still here? Go back to your jungle." Raphael says as he pushes Leonardo's hand off.
"Well at least his personality's still intact." Leonardo says.
"When's it not?" Alexis asks as Michelangelo chuckles.
"And there's an engraving on it. Looks South American. That's your department April." Donatello says as he looks at the object before giving it to April.
"Would it help if I told you that those statues you collected for Winters were shooting these things at me and Raph?" Casey says as he is holding a needle dart.
"The Legend of Yoatl. It can't be. It was just a myth.. A scary story the locals told kids a campfire." April says as the others look at her curiously.
"What are you talking about April?" Alexis asks as Donatello goes over to a table to examine the stone and needle better.
"They say 3000 years ago some warrior actually found a portal to another dimension. And when the opened the energy from it gave the warrior eternal life. But it also turned his generals to stone. What if this warrior just kept living forever? He would spend the rest of his days in regret.. Spending all of his riches and all of his power to find a way to revive his stone generals. Maybe just maybe he's built a new empire. But hey like I said. It's just a myth." April says as Raphael gets up and walks around.
"If you ask me guys this has Winters' name written all over it." Donatello says as Alexis looks over at him.
"How do you figure that Donnie?" Alexis asks.
"Because this has Winters' name written all over it." Donatello says as he holds the needle.
"Oh." Alexis says.
"Now I know who to thank for this shot in the arm. So where do we find this guy and his stone jokers?" Raphael asks annoyedly before sitting in a chair.
"We're not going until we get Splinter's blessing." Leonardo says sternly.
"You're gonna quote a rulebook to me that you ain't been following for a year?" Raphael asks angrily while standing up.
"Raph if you got something you wanna get off your shell now's the time. But I'm not gonna stand here and debate Splinter's direct orders with you." Leonardo says sternly.
"Fine then. I quit." Raphael says as he walks over to the window.
"Hey Raph. Don't do it man. Sometimes just taking a breather is the best thing to do." Casey says as he goes over to Raphael.
"Whatever." Raphael says as he leaves.
*Timeskip*
"So what are we looking for?" Alexis asks as she is helping Donatello and April looking through books.
"Well according to these star charts, the portal is set to open.. directly over Winters Tower in the next 24 hours." Donatello says as he is looking at some charts.
"So the legend is right. Three thousand years." April says as Donatello walks over to his charts.
"And when the portal opens we'll lose the city to monsters within hours. Within days the country. And within weeks the world." Donatello says.
"Not good." Alexis says worriedly.
"Oh so it's like Halley's comet only monsters come out?" Michelangelo asks as he is skateboarding on his ramp.
"Yeah I guess it is like the comet." Alexis says as she looks at Michelangelo.
"I'm smart." Michelangelo says before he falls.
"Mikey!" Alexis says in alarm as she runs over to Michelangelo..
"I'm okay." Michelangelo says.
"Why do we need Raph anyway? It's his temper that always jeopardizes all our missions." Leonardo says grumpily as Alexis, April, Michelangelo and Donatello look at him.
"Okay Leo. Whatever you say." Donatello says.
"Nobody mentioned Raph but um okay." Alexis says as she then sees Leonardo talk with Splinter before leaving.
*Timeskip*
"Long have we been in hiding. Perhaps too long." Splinter says as the group is gathered around a table after learning Leonardo was taken.
"I can't believe they took him." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Well what do we do now?" Michelangelo asks.
"I'll tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna rescue our brother and then we're gonna save New York City." Raphael says.
