Rhys would look over at Leif, they had been living on earth for a while, Ava getting used to their company. a faint blush would appear on Rhys' face. at this point he finally took a moment to admire the shorter's beauty, his silk white hair, his leaf green eyes, his smooth looking slightly tanned skin, Rhys thought he was perfect, but he was the only one that knew he was cursed, and that he couldn't fall in love, but he knew he could prove the legends wrong, because he read that a true love kiss could break the curse, but Leif couldn't kiss someone, they would have to kiss him, but it can't be just a random kiss to break the curse, it has to be for actual love, which Rhys had for him. Rhys would get up and go to Ava, who was in her room for help, he would walk in, explain everything, and ask what to do. Ava would tell him to go slow, and due to the curse he didn't know the signs of love, so he would just go slow, try to flirt, act protective, and finally when he would believe the time was right, kiss him, and see if the broken spirit residing in his body would mend. a sign that a shattered spirit with a host was mending itself, is that the host's body and eyes would glow, but if they got an eye color from the broken spirit, it would stay even when mended. Rhys took Ava's advice and walked back out, sitting next to Leif on the couch, he decided to be cool with it, Rhys would silently scoot a little closer to Leif, sneaking his hand on top of Leif's, acting like he didn't realize what he was doing but Rhys very well knew what he was doing. He pretended to surprisingly pull his hand away, "I-I'm so sorry I didn't realize what I was doing" Rhys would say, faking being frantic. Leif would tell him it was okay, and let Rhys put his hand back on his, Rhys smiled to himself, he was proud. he knew that if things kept going at this pace, he would be able to break the curse eventually. but for now, like Ava said, he would take things slow, don't rush into anything, and be protective as if Leif had belonged to him.
