chapter 2 the final spirit

the 5 had gathered around the final spirit, there was a magic crisis at hand. too many babies had been born recently so the spirits had faded into the children. our main character, Leif, had lifted it up, the group making their way back to lady grandma, Asch's grandmother. they walked into her study lab, seeing the older woman waiting for their return, she would hit on Pierce for a moment, making him clearly uncomfortable, Leif held out the orb, the older woman turned her gaze and took the spirit, Pierce mumbling a silent 'I owe you one'. Leif nodded and continued on, a person from the group had to loose their powers so they could find a new world to find power from. Asch pushed Noi forward, since he accidentally got a human spirit but still got powers, he wasn't as chaotic as the rest of them, so Asch was sacrificing him to do it. The anger in Pierce's eyes could be easily recognizable, for he was always more calm and laid back. Leif looked over to Pierce shaking his head showing to just let it happen, and interfering would make it worse. Pierce simply nodded and calmed down, looking away because he couldn't watch Noi lose his power, it would be too much for him to handle mentally. Noi sacrifices his powers and falls to the floor with a nosebleed, Pierce rushing to his side and holding him up, holding his unconscious body, rage filling his eyes once more. Leif just simply said to calm down. they created the vortex but it said something that they couldn't quite understand "E-arth?" Asch had said questionably, not able to pronounce it correctly, but Leif had some advantages, as for being secretly cursed. "Earth, a world of humans with some occasional supernatural beings here and there, daemos included. but there are no wars or fights in this world, it's peaceful" Leif had said, the others looking at him in shock, they didn't expect him to be able to know that. They simply walked through, seeing that it was peaceful, then they must not use their magic often, or at least the ones that have power. they stepped through, the 5 first hiding their horns, Leif set some rules, no fighting, no orders, act like you're dressing up, and only use your powers worst case scenario. they all agreed and walked through, touching the concrete floor of an allyway...
