A/n: this takes place when they arrive!

Chuuya and Dazai searched the inside of the building, Gin covered the entrance, akutagawa explored the land outside, and I covered the roof top (chuuya brought me up).

I could see both akutagawa and Gin from my position. Gin stayed in a defensive stance as for her brother walked calmly and boldly across the grass.

I could hear Dazai and Chuuya bickering below me. I couldn't make out what they were saying though.

I have plenty of fighting experience but I question if I'd be able to survive a small fight here. It's been a while since I have fought. But I am exceptionally skilled enough. Knowing Mori he has a reasoning I haven't been able to notice.

   *CRASH*

I bolted to the edge and immediately found the sound.

Akutagawa was walking towards the building and a man was pinned to the wall. Rashomon through his chest.

(Sorry if this is moving to fast)

My spectating didn't stay peaceful for long. I was joined by a woman with long black hair and blue eyes. She was taller than me. She may even be taller than Dazai. I wasn't going to be waiting for Dazai to find out.

She immediately activated an ability with dark blue ribbons slithering in the air around her body.

With no second thought she threw herself at me. It only took a second to understand her ability. Her ability was controlling arrows.

3 arrows formed from her back and flew into mine. The only difference being the blood coming from where smooth skin once was.

She tried to grab my throat but I dodged her and kicked her down by putting my foot on her back. The wedge of my boot was shoved underneath her shoulder blade making it unable to go down.

She screamed.

Akutagawa appeared behind me and she started calling for help. I lifted my foot dragging her shoulder blade cracked. It was probably a little dramatic, but some technique's are boring. No fun if it isn't a little interesting. Her shoulder blade being broken shouldn't kill her. It will only leave her in a ton of pain.

Left my foot in pain too.

She continued to scream until Akutagawa closed her mouth with something sharp so she her screams were muffled.

"Akutagawa?" I questioned. He was just on the ground a moment ago, he now stood beside me contently.

"Don't question it. Get the woman and head let's go back to Gin and Dazai-san," Akutagawa ordered.

   Where was Chuuya?

I grabbed her arm and she struggled. I slammed my fist in her skull leaving her unconscious. Her body was heavy but I slipped it over my shoulder and walked to the stair case.

"No come with me," Akutagawa called. Before I could ask what he meant he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me to the edge.

He used Rashōmon to bring us to the ground.

Standing behind us as we turned was Gin and Dazai with no sign of Chuuya.

   "Where is Chuuya?" I asked.

" Chuuya had to use Corruption, " Dazai answers. That sentence answered every question I had.

"Kouyou came and returned him to headquarters just after wards," Akutagawa reassured unintentionally.

I nodded and leaned forward to pull the woman upwards.

Gin ran off to another mission immediately while Dazai and Akutagawa escorted me with the girl to the basement of the Mafia building.

"You are aware of what to do Akutagawa," Dazai said after securing her chains.

    Akutagawa nodded.

"You are always aware what will happen if you make a mistake," Dazai pointed a gun at Akutagawa's head.

"Enough," I stepped in front of Akutagawa.

"This isn't your place to stand," Dazai says.

"Shut the hell up and get upstairs Dazai," I point to the stairs with my other hand holding a knife in my pocket.

"You can't talk like that to Dazai-san," Akutagawa grabs my shoulder.

"You can't talk like that too me," I grab his arm and put it to his side.

"Just accept that I'm trying to keep you safe," I sighed.

Dazai was threatening him and it was obvious. The only reason Dazai listened to me is because he had places to be regardless.

At this point Dazai left to see Chuuya. Me and Dazai did train together as kids. It would be useless to fight someone who knows your every tactic for a dumb reason.

It doesn't feel like a dumb reason to me. I really did want to keep akutagawa safe for some reason.

I walked to the wall and slid to the floor in a dark corner. I didn't want to bother akutagawa. Nor did I want to leave him.

  What does that mean?
