A year later, the old man had died. And the stall disappeared from the market. But the boy and his friends were still there. I've liked him for a few months now, but I don't want to ruin our friendship. Eventually it would be ruined, luckily not by me. Well, luckily... I don't consider having your farther threaten to kill your "imaginary" boyfriend being lucky. If you're wondering wether he pulled the trigger or not, he did. However it didn't go like I expected. The boy didn't die, he disappeared. And the bullet? The bullet hit a wall, bounced back, and shot through my chest. I knew that I was dying, yes. But I didn't care. The last few years of my life were a lie. Maybe I really was insane.
Is it really possible that one longs so hard to love, that they create a whole person in their mind and believe they exist? Is it really possible that this girl wanted someone so badly, that she created this fake reality? Yes, it is. Later, as scientists examined her brain, they found a divergence. Her creative mind was connected to her eyes, which made her see everything she imagined. Maybe that's why she saw the boy. In this reality it's called dismophia, but it also exist in yours. Not the way that's just described, with the connected brain and all. However it is a mental disorder named maladaptive daydreaming. When you are dreaming that much, that you can't see the line between dreams and reality anymore.
