Vampires are as old as mankind, but unlike men, we learn from our mistakes. And we don't forget them. We watch men in wars, meaningless fights for sex, power, gold, domination, belief. We heard the lies they told and the truths they hid. We have seen the evolution of science and the decline of human compassion. We watched as machines mastered emotion and eventually psychologically enslaved humans. We learned to manipulate the same weapons and how to perfect them, we learned to use the same machines and how to dominate them, we are predators, but also survivors.
