He had no clue where Paul went, but he had food so it was fine.
Sid and Craig off talking and whatever as always.
He was sitting mostly across Mick because Mick had decided to try and take his spot on the couch. But Mick was fine with it. Normally he's half to grab a high Sid and help him get through the times where Sid would try and cuddle and tell you how much he loved you. Nobody else was willing to deal with Sid's attention needing other than Mick.
Chris finished his food first and went down the smaller hallway that only had two other people in it. Craig and Corey.
Craig liked his quiet and so did Corey most of the time, so of course they chose the smaller hallway. Chris had just been thrown in there after the fact.
He laid down and though. The days seemed to be getting really slow, maybe it was Joey being sick or maybe Sid was outside the whole day. He didn't know. But it felt ominous.
It felt dangerous. Everyone else didn't seem to though, so he just kept quiet about it because he didn't want to bother anyone with it.
He just laid and slept around and nothing really interesting happened until he woke up and heard Corey whisper yelling.
It was hard to hear from Chris's spot, but he was curious so he moved closer.
"-I know you're sick feeling but I'm not letting you sleep in here like a lost cat. Go find somebody else." Corey whispered.
"Please, come on Corey. I just need a few extra blankets and I don't know where they are. Could you help me find them or something?" Joey sounded pissed at him, but through all the anger was still a little shaking.
"No, just go find Mick or something, I'm tired."
"Corey, Mick will stab me if I try to wake him up. Needs his beauty sleep."
"You do too princess and don't pretend like you don't. Just go look for them yourself." Corey said and stood up shooing Joey away.
"No wait Corey please."
"What?"
"Can you come with me? Just please?"
"Why? Give me a reason as to why I need to loose sleep over this?"
"No, just follow me please?"
Corey sighed but seemed to follow.
Chris laid back down. He had never heard Joey do anything like that before. He was surprised Corey didn't kick him out earlier.
Suddenly he heard some bass being played. He assumed Paul was stressing out over some random song again.
Chris started thinking. Chris enjoyed thinking whenever he couldn't sleep. When he would have been out and around with the guys he would do the most stupid shit that seemed like no thoughts passed his brain.
But thoughts were nice. Thoughts kept him alive and okay. But also thought sucked ass. Mostly dark thoughts would only come at times like that. Either the bad thoughts would invade any positivity in his mind.
Those types sucked. Those types were awful and made him cry sometimes.
The other thoughts were about other people and how much other people sucked. Sometimes those thoughts made him cry too though.
And nobody in that house had judged him for crying. The most judgment he had felt was Craig knocking at 1:00 am on one of those sad nights and him saying "Go away."
Craig still opened the door. He came in and sat next to Chris. Craig just gave him a little hug. A tight hug that made his ribs ache. But it was nice.
Craig had smiled and gave him one of those looks that said "Are you okay?"
