Prologue

2012, the beginning of the story.
Aranrap, the capital of Aflen.

Hisao Minase, the son of Aflen's Prime Minister.
13 years old, He was sitting in his room, in front of his monitor, impatiently waiting to receive the results of his entrance exam to one of the best academies in the country, The walls of his room were full of astronomical posters, There was a Vixen Optics 25092DS SXP mount telescope near his window.

The monitor image turned white and the test results were displayed, only ten people have passed:

1- Akira Suzuki = 98

2- Hisao Minase = 97

3- Tsubasa Jinja = 82

4- Ai Shikichi = 80

5- Emiko Shio = 80

6- Kazuko Ichibangase = 79

7- Koshiro Kai = 77

8- Mariko Tsukumo = 76

9- Maria Smith = 72

10- Takashi Chiha = 58

Happiness flashed in his eyes as he saw his name on the list, It is true that he came second, but his happiness was undeniable.

He jumped to his feet running outside of his room, screaming and calling their maid, Gina Mori, so he could give her the news about him passing the entrance exam.

"GINAAAA-SAAAAAAAN"

He ran into the kitchen seeing Gina and her two sons together in the kitchen.
The kids, Fudo and Hajime, looked at him wondering what happened, they
were 8 and 5 years old.

Fudo the 8 year-old boy asks him wondering what happened.

"Hisao-nii, what happened, why are you yelling all of a sudden?"

Hajime just nods twice.

"Hm Hm"

Gina, who was a pregnant maid and the only maid working for them finally asks Hisao.

"Did you pass?"

Hisao nods enthusiasm.
Gina smiles at him.

"I'm glad your hard work finally paid off, young master"

Hisao puffs his chest proudly.

"Gina-san do you remember our promise? You promised that if I could pass the exam, you tell me what is that black ring you wear on your middle finger."

Gina looks at the ring on her finger nostalgically, it was a black ring with a diamond on top. She looks back at Hisao's happy face.

"It's the ring my husband got me when we were still teenagers, I remember that he was so nervous to finally ask me" brings her finger up and plays with the ring "but he did despite being so nervous"

Hisao's face is unimpressed by her story, he expected something more romantic.

"Do you miss him, Gina-san?"

She looks at him.

"Of course I do"

Hisao looks at the pot on the stove a perfect opportunity to change the subject.

"What are you making Gina-san, do you want me to help you?"

Gina gently pats Hisao's head.

"I would appreciate that"

Hisao nods and rolls his sleeves

"Are we having Sushi tonight? Do you want me to make the rice?"

Gina nods and sits down on a chair watching him do what she'd taught him.
