Chapter 8

Author's Note: I started this fanfic on January 1st, 2022 so this is now a little over a year old. They grow up so fast 😭

"Th-Th-Th-This i-is s-s-so s-s-s-sudden. I-I-I d-d-don't k-k-know w-what t-to s-s-say..."

"The hell is going on here?!"

"AH!" Due to the sudden yelling, I jumped about a pretty impressive mile. I might be part jumping spider. Unfortunately, I had to walk back to the hut but when I got there I got a clear look at the man who barged in.

"U-UwU, y-y-you're t-that vampire h-h-hottie. T-Totally big scary a-a-alpha m-material." (Plot twist, this is the omegaverse now!)

"Edward, you're finally back. Care to explain why you brought a random human inside of my hut?" The green ogre looked over at the vampire. His name is Edward?

"She was in the forest alone and I feasted on her and brought her here since this is also my home." The vampire retorted.

"C-c-c-c-can a-a-any p-please ex-explain w-w-w-w-w-w-what's h-h-h-h-h-happening h-h-here?" (I think you already know who this is.)

"Allow me to explain. This house that you reside in belongs to my father, Shrek. This vampire is my father's roommate and son, Edward." Shoto turned to look at me.

"He is not my father!" The guy whose name was apparently Edward yelled. "I'm just staying here for the time being, that's it! You seem to be doing better, if that's the case, get out!"

"But-"

"Now!"

I felt my sapphire and amethyst orbs tear up over the yelling. Why...? Why is he being so mean...? I've done nothing wrong... Why is everything my fault? In a fit of anger and sorrow, I ran out the door sobbing. I didn't care where I was or where I was going, I just wanted to escape. I ran for what seemed like an eternity before I blacked out from exhaustion.

"-ey... Stay with me...!"
