"baby wake up, we have to meet your parents today"

Beomgyu said while kissing Taehyun's forehead and waking him up. Taehyun whined.

"hyung...do we really have to ?"

"i think we should taehyun... they're your parents after all"

"I'm just scared"

"it's fine, I'll be there with you too, don't worry"

It's been 1 month since Taehyun and Beomgyu got married. Taehyun's parents never treated taehyun properly, so he left home at 19 and had almost no contact with them.

Beomgyu's parents treated taehyun like their own son. They never made Taehyun feel what his parents made him feel like.

They got ready and locked the house. Beomgyu turned around and saw uneasiness and worry on Taehyun's face. He hugged him while patting his back.

"everything's gonna be alright hm ? we just have to spend a night there and let them know we're married, that's it !!"

Taehyun nodded and they drove off to their house. The door opened revealing Taehyun's mother.

"you're here !! i was waiting for you two"

Beomgyu and Taehyun bowed and she let them in. Taehyun's dad walked to them and greeted them too.

"come on sit"

They sat down and there was an awkward silence. Beomgyu knew taehyun didn't want to speak.

"uh.. I'm Taehyun's husband, Choi Beomgyu"

Beomgyu said while holding Taehyun's hand. Taehyun looked up to see his parents' reaction and they were pretty relaxed.

"i guessed that after seeing those rings"

His mom brought some juice and sat down beside his dad.

"you dyed your hair...it doesn't really suit you"

Taehyun's mom said making beomgyu look at her with furrowed eyebrows. Taehyun wasn't surprised. He has been hearing things like these since he was born. Beomgyu held Taehyun's hand tighter, making sure he was alright.

"what do you do for a living ? I bet Taehyun doesn't have a job, you must be the working man"

His dad said while looking at beomgyu. At this point, beomgyu was fuming with anger. He clenched his jaw and tried his best to not snap at them.

"it's not like that...me and Taehyun work in a fashion industry, I'm the CEO and he has a pretty high post, a REALLY respectful one"

Beomgyu said while smirking. His dad was speechless. He just looked at taehyun not being able to believe what beomgyu said.

"what about you ? how do you manage ? without taehyun ?"

Taehyun looked at Beomgyu and tried to shut him. But knowing the person beomgyu was, taehyun knew he wouldn't tolerate any bad words said to him or taehyun.

"oh well"

Taehyun's dad leaned back on the couch with a smirk.

"we've been doing way better...he wasn't really doing anything ?? like he was just living here with us...so it didn't really change anything, oh wait it did ! the expenses are less now"
