"are you really going to sing that song ? on your birthday ? bro-"

"hyung...let me..."

Yeonjun sighed and nodded. Beomgyu took out the guitar from its cover and hung it around his neck, checking its strings.

Beomgyu liked singing a lot. He started singing at his uncle's bar at a very young age. Whenever he felt like singing, he'd visit his bar and sing for the audience. The people there loved it. Some of them even requested songs for their dates.

That's the same place where he met the love of his life. Taehyun. Both the boys fell in love with each other at first sight. However, before they could even confess their feelings to each other, they were torn apart.

- FLASHBACK -

"so...6 pm is final ?"

Taehyun nodded and smiled at Beomgyu. Both the boys were excited. Taehyun knew beomgyu was going to confess and he couldn't wait to confess his feelings too.

Beomgyu waited and waited, but Taehyun never came.

"son, i think you should leave now, i have to close the restaurant... it's pretty late too, maybe talk to him tomorrow ?"

Beomgyu checked his watch and immediately bowed to the old lady, apologising for making her wait. It was 11pm, but Taehyun was still not there.

Beomgyu called him, no answer, he texted him, no reply, he asked the others about him, no clue. He walked out of the restaurant, dumping away the bouquet of roses in the dustbin and walking away as warm tears rolled down his cheeks.

He thought taehyun never liked him and it was just him assuming things. He accepted rejection after one week of crying and denying but it got all worse when there was still no clue to where Taehyun was.

No one saw him after that day and Beomgyu blamed himself for everything. He was the last person who saw Taehyun.

- END OF FLASHBACK -

It's been 2 months since Taehyun went missing. Beomgyu walked up on the small stage and bowed to the audience, earning a loud cheer. He sat down on the stool, adjusting the mic and guitar. His fingers slowly started moving along the guitar strings.

"~Where is the time going again?
I lost a home, I lost a friend

Yeonjun, Soobin and Hyuka watched Beomgyu sing with tears in their eyes. They were the only ones who knew what beomgyu actually went through and they were really proud of how he was holding on, not giving up and waking up everyday in hopes of seeing Taehyun again.
