Turkey's POV
"So when are we going to get to go home?" New Zealand asks
"I don't really know, maybe I could find a train that goes to Greece and they'll take care of you from there."
"But then we'd have to go through Bulgaria." He says
"Maybe I can see if he could help us and sneak you through the country."
"Or what if we go to Greece by boat?" Australia suggests
"That might be possible but the nearest island that belongs to Greece is pretty far and I doubt we'll make it very far, beaches are being guarded against the attack you guys pulled on me."
"So what choice do we really have? I mean we can't just wait out the war, we'd probably be caught eventually. And if we call Bulgaria we have the risk of being snitched on." Australia says
"Yea and I wanna see our family again, they probably think we're dead." New Zealand says in a worry.
"Well, our best chance is through Bulgaria because he owes me a big favour. I'll go to a landline and call him now, you two stay hidden in here and don't answer the door." I say as I get up and put on my coat. I head out the door to find the nearest payphone.
Australia's POV
He walks out the door as me and Kiwi look at each other worried, "what if we are caught..?" Kiwi asks
"I don't know, maybe used against dad? Maybe death..." I look up at his scared face, "But I'm sure nothing will happen, Turkey has got this under control." I try to say reassuring her
"I wouldn't say 'under control' i mean would you know what to do if you had to smuggle two thirteen-year-olds across 2 countries?"
"Hey at least he is trying to help, it would have been too easy to shoot us the moment he saw us or take us captive for other purposes. We should just go with it. As I said, What other choice do we have?"
"I guess you're right, but if he takes the slightest advantage of us we are walking out the door right then and there, but for now we should just rest."
once again just forgot about this for months on end, i was hoping to make it longer but art block punched me in the face and i just wanna post this despite it being under 400 words
oh yea i may or may not be making a new one of these due to a lot of au and character changes and the fact that i know a lot more history than a year ago
