Chapter 4

F/s: favorite snack

The elevator dinged causing me look back at where it was. As the doors slowly opened I saw Aki's stone cold face staring back at me. He exited the elevator and he began walking towards the desk I was standing in front of.

"Ah, Aki you're here well now I'll tell you whats going to happen. Y/n." She said shifting her focus to me "You'll be living with Aki from now on since your house burned down. I'm sure Aki will treat you well. Isn't that right Aki?" Makima said cheerfully, Aki nodded while showing no emotion at all.

"Well, if thats all Ms. Makima we'll be taking our leave." Aki stated.

"Yes you guys can leave now." Makima said with her sweet voice. Aki turned around and started heading to the elevator as I followed him.

"So, how far is your house?" I asked as the elevator closed.

"Its not far" he said blatantly while staring at the elevator door

We both walked into the apartment and immediately I began looking around scanning every inch of the place that I would now have to stay in. Whilst I did this Aki lazily walked into his room however before shutting the door he said

"Don't bother me it's already to late so you go to sleep." Aki said as he began to close the door

"Wait! Can you atleast give me some money, I'm hungry" I whined as I begged holding both my hands in a cup position while standing in front of Aki's door.

Aki sighed and gave me a couple crumbled yen bills

I gleefully smiled as I said "Thank y-." Yet I was cut off by Aki slamming the door. I stared at the door that he slammed in front of my face for a few seconds then turned around and began walking away.

"He's such a bitch" I said quietly as I made my way to front door

"What did you say!?" Aki yelled from his room.

"Um I said I have an itch!" I yelled back as I left the apartment ensuring not to lock the door behind me so I could get back in later.

Hm I think I saw a store that sells f/s I thought as I began walking to the store. I looked down at the few crumbled yen bills in my hand wondering if it was enough to pay for f/s

The cold night air blew itself against my neck causing me to shiver a little. I looked down at myself and say that I was still in my school clothes I sighed wondering where I could get any clothes yet I was sure that the amount of money I had was no where close to paying for any good clothes.

I dragged my feet against the concrete floor as I approached the store that sold my f/s luckily it was still open at this time so I opened the door to the store and walked in.

A young woman who looked very tired of her job gave me a wave as her elbow rested on the counter I gave a way back giving a small smile. I began looking around for my f/s which wasn't hard since the store I was in was rather small selling mostly candy and snacks and having some  necessities.

I grabbed my f/s and walked to the counter "This will be all" I said as I payed for my f/s.

"Ok, thank you for shopping here" She said forcing a sweet voice despite how tired she seemed.  I waved bye to her as I walked out holding my f/s.

It was still dark out and cold in contrast to the warm air that was in the store, I began walking away from the store whilst eating my f/s however I bumped into someone almost causing me to drop my f/s.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you" I said looking at the boy who seemed a few years younger than me, he had an eyepatch making him look like a pirate along with his dirty clothes that looked like it came from the trash.

"Hm? Its fine I'm just in a rush" He said, I now noticed that he was holding a dog yet I couldn't figure out any other details of it since the light pole we were standing under went out.

"Oh well I don't wanna hold you back if you're in a rush get to where ever you need to go safely." I said as I began to walk away.

"You too!" He yelled as he ran away.

I sighed whilst dragging my feet against the floor my feet had already began aching from all the walking today and with the hell my shoes been in they looked disgusting parts of it burned up while the rest was covered in dirt.

I entered the apartment and took off my shoes I yawned as I approached Aki's door and knocked on it. "Aki do you got any spare clothes" I said in a whispered voice hoping not to disturb Aki from what he was doing.

I heard him groan from his room and open his door slightly. He looked at me up and down examining the clothes that I had on "Nope I don't have any clothes" He said blankly then he slammed the door in my face. I looked at the door thinking WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS THE LEAST HE CAN DO IS GIVE ME SOMETHING TO WEAR. Then I banged on his door irritated.

"What do you mean you don't have any clothes?! You obviously have some since you fucking changed your clothes just give me something!" I yelled at his door. He then opened his door and threw clothes at my head.

"Take these and leave me alone!" He yelled angrily then he once again slammed the door in my face. I looked at the the clothes that were thrown at me which was a long yellow sleeve sweater along with grey sweatpants. I guess this will work I thought as I shrugged and headed off to take a shower.
