     chapter 12- confessions and monsters

everyone started to cover the windows of the home with whatever they could find

"get away from the windows" Nancy spoke as she grabbed her shot gun

everyone stood around in a circle shallow breaths being heard and a squeaky lamp

everything started to go shake and the lights were flickering signaling that the flayed was close by

"It's close" will says the trees and the house began to shake all together

"Where'd it go?" Max asked worry lacing her voice

suddenly a the flaydes arm swooped out at us as every was pressed up against the wall screaming

Jonathan starts hitting it with a ax as everyone had horrified expressions on their face

Nancy tried to shoot it with her gun making the creature come after her the blood rushed away from olives face making her as white as a ghost

el stepped up and used her abilities to torture the creature with searing pain

as she killed one two more came at her "holy shit" max says

she kills two more as one comes up behind and grabs onto her foot trying to drag her out by the roof all the kids run after her to try to pull her down

"Nancy shoot it!" Jonathan screams

she shoots it over and over again before olive grabs the ax and starts hitting it over and over again while nancy shoots

finally olive breaks off the creature from el a piece of it still lingering on her as Mike rips it off causing her to yell out in pain

el stands back up her leg bloody as she uses her powers to rip apart the monster Mike and max carry el as everyone runs out of the house

"come one go go go"

"let's go!"

everyone gets into the truck as they hear the screaming of the creature

"Come on come on let's go!" eleven starts screaming from the pain of her leg as Mike yells "drive drive!"

they break into a store and set eleven on the ground as Nancy looks for rubbing alcohol and bandages to help her

"okay let me see" Nancy says as she raises up her pant leg to see her leg spouting with blood

"Oh shit" max says as olive shields her eyes

"Wow wow hey what are you doing?" Max stops nancy

"I'm cleaning the wound-"

"No first we need to stop the bleeding .. then clean, the disinfect, the bandage" max says as everyone looks at her

"I skateboard trust me"

she put a bandage on and pressed down to apply pressure "Mike hold this" she replaces her hand with his "keep the pressure on it nice and firm? Okay?"

"We're gonna need water or soap" she says to Nancy and Jonathan as they and look for it

"Yeah okay"

"Alright"

Lucas dumps out his bag "does any of this help"

"No go get me a washcloth and a bowl" she replies

"A bowl"

"Lucas!"

will pushes Lucas back and whispers "go" and the grabs olive arm to pull her with them
