"Hello! Players! Congratulations on surviving the first day!" Blares a pleasant voice. "Because you all were so violent, there's only two groups left! 9 and 12! Who would have thought. So i am calling a no kill no truce for a couple days. Both teams have someone with life threatening injuries and there will be a banquet with the thing you need most. Four backpacks containing what you need most. No killing allowed but stealing yes. The banquet will be tomorrow at dawn." I turn towards kacchan. "You're not going." He says. "Why not? Killing isn't allowed!" I say. I begin to change his bandages and notice the red splotches forming. Its only been a day and he already has signs of blood poisoning. He's going to die and it will be my fault. He lost so much blood and has blood poisoning. "How's it look doc?" He asks. I grit my teeth and smile. "I think kota would be proud of me. It looks better." I say smiling. Kinda not a lie. Less blood and less gore. "Deku... i know what blood poisoning looks like... I may be the butchers son and not the big brother to a master healer but i still know." He says sitting up. "I'm going to get the backpack. It will probably have medicine for your poisoning." I say. "No you're not." He says beginning to tear up. "Fine i wont." I say. "You're a terrible liar, never gamble." He says smiling. "Well sorry for wanting to save your life. You'll fucking die if I dont get that medicine for you. They're also probably just as desperate as us." I say thinking back to what she said. "Ok i seriously wont go but you have to eat everything and do what i say." I mutter. "Deal." He says. I walk out to gather fruit to make a berry mush he can eat. Once i get out of sight i rip open my teddy bear and pretend to use it to filter water quickly before using iodine. I swiftly collect the vile of sleep syrup and pour its contents into to The berry bowl. I toss the bottle in the water with the teddy bear and watch them fly away riding the current. I then collect berries and mix them together mashing them. I hurry back to safety and kacchan. "Here eat." I say. "Its sweet..." he says. "Its berries what were you expecting. Of course theyre sweet." I say taking a bite of my berry mush. "No like sickly sweet." He says confused but taking another bite. "Tastes fine to me. Probably sweeter because theyre fresh and not chemically ripened," i say before leaning in. "Tastes like the ones in the forest that i illegally gather." I whisper into his ear before kissing his cheek. "Ive never been a fan of sweets, ever since your brother gave me that slee-" his eyes widen and he tries to puke it up. I cover his mouth and plug his nose. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." I say. I force him to swallow the last bite he was chewing on before he knocks out. "I may be a bad liar but I'm  an excellent actor." I say wiping the tear that trails down his face. I leave him fully guarded. Hell be out until i return tomorrow afternoon. I curl up next to him before i hear a thunk. I look out and grab the package. A head to toe armor that would protect him while I'm gone; i dress him in the armor before cuddling up for warmth. Its so cold. I'm so glad we have the blankets and sleeping bags. I take a nap before grabbing a backpack and filling it with food, water, and weapons. I begin hiking towards the cornucopia and hunting as i go. I set snares that ill check as i come back. It would be good to have fresh meat in us. I reach the cornucopia before its dark and hide myself in a dense bush. I curl up tightly and close my eyes. That way the anthem will wake me up at midnight. From there ill just pull an all nighter so i can grab the bags. The anthem plays and shows no deaths and turns off. I rub my eyes groggily and put on my night vision goggles. Hours seem to go by before it the sun starts rising. A hover craft drops off a table with bags that are labeled. I sprint as soon as i see the table in sky. It plops down and i grab all four backpacks. I run off into the forest as an alarm blares. The tribute from 9 wakes up and sees me with all four. He throws a knife and i duck rolling doing a forward roll. Kacchan was right making us take the agility course in training. Who knew a roll could save my life. Another knife whines and skids across my face. He was aiming for my head and missed. But now i need to lay on my speed. I shift my weight foreword as i sprint into the forest. I climb a tree and hide as the tribute looks around for me. I grab an egg that sits in the nest next to me and throw it at a tree. The egg makes impact and lightly shakes the tree. The boy whips around and runs towards the tree he looks around and keeps running to where he think i am. "Got you now fucker!" I here off in the distance. I quickly get down and sprint towards where i know kacchan in. I finally arrive at around 10 with all four bags and two rabbit i caught in my snare traps. I look for the bag with katsuki 12 and find a needle. I pierce his arm with the medicine and inject the liquid into his arm. Thank god kota taught me how to administer vaccines. I was so pissed at him then because i hate sick people, but it just saved kacchans life. I pull the needle out of his arm and pass out. I guess the profuse bleeding from my cheek got to me. I wake up to kacchan smearing something on my cheek. "Morning sunshine." He says groggily. "How long?" I ask sitting up. "I dont know i just woke up. The salve is good for wounds right?" He asks "yeah" i say going to grab bandaids. I unwrap his leg and the red splotchy streaks are gone. "Kacchan!" I say gasping. "I know! My fever broke too! I'm angry but thankful." He says hugging me. "What's in the other bags?" I ask holding them out. "Should we host an unboxing?" He says laughing, i open the other bag labeled izuku 12. Inside it has a restock of arrows. "Thank god i was on my last three." I say hugging the precious arrows. He grabs one of the backpacks from 9. As he opens it its a blanket. They must be freezing. I open the other one. It has an antidote for poison. KABOOM. "What is it?" Kacchan asks looking around. i begin to cry. I show him the bottle and realization hits. He wraps his arms around me. "He must have been in so much pain from whatever he had." I sob. "DO you think he was bitten by something or ate something. If there's a venomous animal around we might need to move." He asks "I think he ate something more than half of the plants here are poisonous." I say. He nods and puts the antidote with the other medicine we have.i noticed how many poisonous plants were around while hiking up to the cornucopia. Even some where all you have to do to get a horrid rash or blisters is touch it. He probably ate something and has slowly been killing the boy. I wipe my tears. A pleasant lady sounds. "Hello welcome to the third day! Rest up well because tomorrow is the final day! Good luck and may the odds be ever in you favor!" She screeches. Its only been three days. And there's only one left to kill. "Your strategy worked. We're going to go home!" Kacchan says kissing my head lightly. I smile. "Lets head there now. You know what type of horrid beasts they unleash to drive tributes to the cornucopia." He says. I nod and pack up all our stuff. May the odds be ever in our  favor.
