The atmosphere around the house was quiet but not the comfortable kind rather an unsettling silence.

Grandpa Lee and Grandma were sitting on the sofa while Minho and Jisung stood in front looking at the ground like a child who did something punishable.

Grandpa had his eye narrowed looking at Jisung cautiously while grandma was looking rather curious.
" Who are you and what were you doing with my grandson? " Grandpa Lee asked in a stern tone.

" Oh c'mon honey! Don't be so serious. Look at the poor boy, he is literally shaking in his place out of fear. " Grandma nudged him and looked at Jisung with a smile. " What's your name? "

" Han Jisung. " Minho answered instead. He was scared that his grandparents won't like Jisung or worst, what if they were homophobic?

" Such a pretty name for a pretty boy. " Grandma had a warm smile on her face which eased the atmosphere a bit while grandpa still looked a little suspiciously. " Now Minho care to explain what you both were doing? And why haven't we ever met each other before? "

" I actually recently met him and about the earlier incident.. " Minho glanced at Jisung hesitantly.
Should he just say it?
What if they don't accept? They don't know Jisung enough.
What if—

" I like Minho. " Jisung answered hesitantly. " I know how important you both are to him, so I hope you know that he didn't want to hide it from you. Since we recently met we didn't wanna rush into things. " He continued with much confidence. Minho held his hand while smiling at him sweetly.

This gesture didn't go unnoticed by both the elders and Grandpa Lee sighed. His grandson was gone, totally in love with this certain squirrel resembling person. He wasn't the one to ruin his only grandson's happiness.

" I see. Since you are here already have lunch with us so that we can get to know each other. " Grandpa said much to everyone's surprise. Jisung nodded happily and the Lee family walked towards the dining table in the kitchen.

" So tell me. Where did you meet each other? " Grandma said while serving the boys joyously.

" Umm.. At the tree house? " Minho said with hesitancy in his voice. Should he tell his grandparents the truth? That Jisung was a squirrel? Jisung looked at Minho and nodded as if reading his thought.
The years Jisung was on the tree as a squirrel made him realize what a sweet and lovely couple they were so he trusted them enough to tell the truth.

Minho started while thinking of his words carefully, " Do you remember the squirrel I accidentally scared near the river? " Both the elder humans nodded and Minho told them the story.

Both looked surprised and grandpa Lee's face lightened in understanding. " Oh that's why you look like a squirrel! " Grandpa lee exclaimed, now feeling a little better as Jisung was not a complete stranger anymore.

" I'm grateful for Grandma, Can I call you that? for always giving me acorns. " Jisung continued when grandma nodded at him.
" I'm more than happy to know that I have two grandsons now. " Grandma lee said while wiping her tears dramatically. While everyone including Grandpa lee chuckled at her.

Just like that the Lunch went on with the grandparents trying to know more about their grandson's potential partner.. Or just a friend? Who knows.

" I'm so full! Your grandma is such a great cook. " Jisung dramatically fell on the bed while rubbing his full tummy.

" I'm glad you enjoyed. " Minho said with a smile looking at the squirrel lying like a star fish.
" I hope you are aware of a certain canary glaring at us right now. "

Jisung sat up and looked out the window to see that a familiar canary was indeed looking at them with fire eyes. It flew and pecked the window as if to say ' are you done with your lovey-dovey stuff because it's time to make me human again. '

" Yeah yeah Felix. I remember. "

They quickly got ready and left the house. The only way to meet chan was his tailor shop in the market but it was saturday plus lunch time so they wished that Chan was there. He was their only hope.

The yellow canary was flying at the full speed and looking back occasionally to see if the two humans are following him or not. To his disappointment they were as slow as a sloth or maybe he was fast enough owing to his wings.

After continuous chirping by the small bird to tell them to walk fast, they arrived at the tailors shop which was luckily open.

The bird immediately flew inside and searched every corner for a human being.

" Hello? " Minho called as he entered inside.
" Yes? " A muffled voice answered from a room which looked like a storage room.

" We came here to meet Chan. "
Jisung asked as he didn't recognise the voice.

" Yes? What— oh hey Minho! " Chan emerged from the storage room and immediately embraced Minho in a friendly hug but he didn't notice a certain someone glaring daggers at him.

" How have you been? " Chan asked smiling widely and turned towards the other guy. He felt a shiver down when he saw a familiar glare directed towards him. " Umm have we met before? " He asked hesitantly.

" I'm good and this is Jisung. " Minho introduced the glaring squirrel who protectively held Minho's hand.

" Jisung be a good boy and say hi. " Minho whispered when Jisung didn't say anything nor did he smile to look hostile.

" Hi Bang Chan. " Jisung faked a smile while greeting him.

" Uhh.. Hey. " Chan greeted back, suddenly feeling intimidated.

" Chan we actually need your help. " Minho started as he felt the uncomfortable atmosphere. Chan nodded and led them inside to sit on the couch while he sat on a bean bag.

" I don't know how to say this.. " Minho started. " We need you to kiss someone. " Jisung continued his statement and Chan choked on his saliva.

" What?! Who? "

" My friend Felix. "

" Who is Felix? And why am I supposed to kiss him? " Chan asked confused.

" He is that yellow canary. " Jisung pointed towards the canary staring at the chaos peacefully while sitting on the sofa cushion who Chan didn't see before.

" What? Why and why me? And why do I need to kiss— "

" Chan, we'll explain everything to you so please calm down. " Minho interrupted him and asked him to take a deep breath before he started speaking.

" So have you seen princess and the frog? "
