Emma Potter was known throughout Hogwarts as James Potter's little sister. It wasn't exactly the title she wanted to have. Not that she minded being known as that, because it honestly wasn't the worst. She just wished people actually knew her name instead of calling her 'mini Potter'.

Emma also didn't have any friends in her house. Everyone thought she was stuck up and completely ignored her. So, she hung out with her brother and his friends. She never participated in any pranks however, she was more of a mastermind behind them.

Sitting at the Gryffindor table beside Remus and Peter with James and Sirius in front of them was an everyday occurrence, just like today. James was staring at Lily Evans trying to think of new ways to ask her out. Sirius was silently flirting with a girl at the Ravenclaw table. Peter was in his own world eating. Remus was reading and stealing a few glances at Sirius.

Emma would usually be reading or writing right about now, but today was different. She felt off, mentally off. Her eyes staring holes into the table while her mind wandered off. She was snapped from her thoughts when Mcgonagall set her timetable in front of her. She rolled her eyes knowing that she wouldn't have any classes with her friends and brother. Her eyes scanned the paper and she just grew even more annoyed. Her first class was potions, the class that she wouldn't understand if it smacked her in the face.

"You alright there, Em? You look like you could murder someone" James asked with a small laugh. Emma looked up at him and glared.

"I got Potions first" She grumbled.

"Aw, don't worry, Em. I'm sure we can help" Sirius cooed reaching over the table to pinch her cheeks. She swatted his hand away from her face.

"I could help you" Remus said. He was looking quite weak and Emma knew why. A full moon was days away and Remus was struggling with it.

"I'll be okay" She said smiling softly at him. He simply nodded and went back to his book. Peter patted the girl's shoulder. He never really knew what to do when it came to comforting Emma, so he just stuck to the awkward shoulder pats.

"I've got to go" Emma said getting up.

"Bye, Em" The four choursed before she walked off. She made her way to the Potions classroom hoping to get brownie points from Slughorn. She was disappointed however when she was met with an empty classroom.

Sighing, she took a seat close to the  back. She had this class with the Slytherins. She got out her notebook and started doodling boredly. Kids started filing into the classroom. No one taking the seat next to Emma. All anyone did was pass by or give her a look. Slughorn finally made it into the classroom and started the lesson. Emma tried to listen, but everything sounded gibberish. The doors to the classroom flung open and three Slytherin boys came in. Two boys were laughing while the other one had a bored expression on his face.

"Mr. Crouch, Mr. Rosier, and Mr. Black?" Slughorn said.

"Sorry, Sir. We had a mix up with the classes" The one Emma knew as Sirius's brother apologized.

"It's fine. Just take a seat and don't let it happen again" Slughorn shrugged off. Two of them took a seat by each other leaving the Black to scan the room for any open seats. Only finding one next to Emma he sighed and made his way to sit down.

Emma stared at him as he sat down. She noticed how he sat as far away from her as possible and was visibly uncomfortable. Emma's gaze shifted back to her notebook as she tried to not let his repulsiveness towards her affect her.
