clay didn't bother to run or even walk fast, he was walking slower than he normally would, and by the time he made it to his destination, the time was ten pm.

the line was looped in and out of buildings for blocks, just hundreds of people wanting into bardo. he frowned for a moment before he remembered this was LA, that anyone will do something for money.

he jumped up to the back of the line and gazed the people until he found someone with at least half decent taste.

"hundred bucks for your vest" clay gestured the large bill towards the teenager, his vest was rather similar to clays black one, but with the theme being pink and all he had to get something related.

the kid rushed and handed clay his vest, taking the bill happily. but clay kept walking, he walked 4 blocks until the entrance to the building was in sight. and by the time he was up there, he realized the only way he was getting in, was bribery.

so that's what he did. he walked up to georges bouncers and looked at them, but with the such dim lighting and everyone wearing sparkling clothing that gleamed in his eyes, they didn't know who he was.

"back of the line buddy" the tall man grunted, the only thing he had against clay was weight which made clay laugh a little inside.

"how much" clay pulled out his wallet and started pulling out bills, he had reached five hundred before the bouncer agreed.

"have a good night" the fat man smiled greedily and stuffed the money into his pocket, moving onto the next person who actually waited in line.

george sat behind stage, almost all of the girls out on the poles now. after all the event had started fifteen minutes ago. but something loomed in his mind, something he couldn't get rid of, something the boys said.

they came to george because they watched the whole thing go down, they watched the mafia leader kill someone, they watched him walk straight through a hundred feds, and no one touched him. that's what horrified the kids, it was fear that drove them towards george, they didn't want to go home and they didn't want to leave george. So the brunette set them up in one of the apartments in his building, of course it was temporary but it was just long enough until the boys felt safe to go home.

"they will be fine. I have my best men surrounding the building" wilbur held janets shoulders as she fought tears, her and candy were still back stage with george and wilbur, and the four of them had heard what the boys had to say.

"they- they wont know its him" janet hiccupped and pushed herself into wilbur, the curly haired mans arms wrapped around her with comfort. after all, janet was wilburs best friend and candy was georges.

"neither of you have to go on, I can just pay you what you would have made" george sat against the edge of the stage, of course them being woven into the building with curtains covering from the club, no one saw him or candy to his left, leaning on his chest.

"I want to, its just any of them could be him" candy pushed herself off of georges chest but kept his hand in her own, just feeling the comfort of the brunette.

"its the same as chance as always candy, its completely up to you guys. but I have to go change" george twirled candys pink tipped blonde hair between his intertwined fingers before standing up, helping candy off the floor as well.

"I guess your right" she shrugged and held her waste as it was slightly cooler behind stage that it was on stage.

"hey, look at me. you will be okay. I promise" george put his hands on candys shoulders and she smiled, nodding while she put her trust into the club owner.
