everyone had eaten, george didn't eat very much but wilbur made him get at least a salad and george couldn't say no. after the bill was paid, they all got back in the car and wilbur pulled onto the highway.
"when was the last time you guys got a haircut" georges voice echoed in the car as his eyes were on his phone, not really paying attention to anything else.
"at least two years ago" jaiden shook his head and blew air out of his mouth, making it sound really dramatic as he stared out the window.
"go to the salon on 8th" george looked at wilbur and he nodded, acknowledging georges words.
"we really dont need anything-" jaiden tried to reason, but george just sat up in his chair and turned around, looking at him with a blank expression.
"yes you do. we are going shopping" george shut his eyes and turned back around in his seat, pleased with the boys expressions when they thanked him repeatedly.
after everyone finally made it to the salon, george looked at the boys happily as they started looking through the photo books with various hair cuts.
"hey Mr. Davidson, long time no see" a young lady came from behind the tables and smiled towards george, him immediately holding his arms out for a hug
"god its been forever Lydia" georges voice sounded ashamed, probably because he hasn't been to see her in over a year.
Lydia was one of his child hood friends, she was the daughter of this salons owner, who sadly passed away and left it to her, but when george was a kid, cara would come here and get him haircuts, and Lydia was always there with her mother.
"I know, you must be busy keeping up with the business" Lydia laughed and pulled away from the hug, her long red hair fell down to her waist as she had an apron on.
"you have no idea" george laughed, looking over at the three boys who were now being seated into barber seats.
"so, who are these three?" she asked while looking over at cole, jaiden, and brody.
"well, long story short, they kind of showed up in my penthouse and I was going out anyway so I thought why not, they looked like they needed some fun anyway" george chuckled a little and kept his eyes on jaiden.
"they remind you of yourself dont they" Lydia pierced her lips and turned to face george once more
"they do." george said quietly but kept looking at jaiden who seemed overly happy about the haircut.
"will you do jaidens, I know your best with curly hair and I dont want someone screwing it" george quickly spoke before anyone could start on jaidens hair, making sure that he got only the best of the best haircuts.
"yeah of course" Lydia laughed before walking over to jaiden, saying something to the other hairdresser, and then she started talking to him.
the three boys looked really happy with getting a haircut, cole seemed a little quiet but you could see the smile on his face when they started cutting his blonde locks.
george felt happy and content with helping these boys, because he was just like them at fourteen, running the streets with no set home, no secure place he could feel safe at, and the least he could do was help them.
"hey ill be right back, watch them" george spoke to wilbur quickly and hit his shoulder as he passed the body guard.
"I need to come with you, im literally your body guard" wilbur shook his head and followed george out of the salon, and george didn't really fight it, but he did feel only slightly awkward leading wilbur into a rather revealing women's clothing store.
"the event tonight" george ignored all of the stares him and wilbur were getting, just looking through the racks and handers of different, very revealing outfits.
"the theme you chose was pink. you cant even see pink" wilbur stared at george and george only because of the women workers staring at them firmly.
"yeah that's why you are here" george picked up an outfit and pulled his sun glasses off his face, setting them on top of his fluffy brunette hair.
wilbur was about to respond but george held out an outfit, it consisted of really tight looking shorts with a literal string bra that he wouldn't be wearing anyway.
"that's red, and no" wilbur shook his head as he didn't like the outfit, it wasn't that wilbur was being mean or judgmental but the outfit literally looked like spaghetti noodles.
they went through a couple other outfits until wilburs jaw dropped as george held out a plastic hander which had a baby pink sparkly skirt that tied up on the right side with a corset that had just the bands, then at the top it held a bra which looked to be made of the same pink sparkly fabric and it had no straps.
The outfit ^^
george looked a little worried seeing as wilbur wasn't responding but it was when wilbur started shaking his head up and down slowly that george knew this was the outfit for tonight.
"okay then" george laughed and started walking towards the front desk, the lady gave him a strange look but then rung the clothing up, revealing it was one of their expensive, limited outfits that was 300 dollars.
george laughed a little bit and handed the lady his card, and that's when she realized who he was.
her jaw dropped and george just smiled, taking his card back and then picking the dark black bag up that didn't show what was inside.
the two british brunettes walked back into the barber shop to reveal brody was done and sitting on his chair, criss cross and staring at jaiden as Lydia used a razor on the side of his head, after all jaiden was getting a mullet.
brody had gotten nothing more than a fade on the back, keeping the top of his hair relatively the same. cole had a lot of hair and he hated it, so he was literally just buzzing it all off.
"damnnn" george dug out the n as he spoke, making it sound smooth as he took his same standing position near the front desk.
"thank you so much" jaiden spoke first as the lady started running her hands through his now soaked curls that were beginning to grow shorter.
"no problem" george smiled and crossed his arms, wilbur now holding that bag with the outfit in it.
