"Na'tali come quick, there's navi arriving on some sort of Ikrans i think" Shouted Tsireya to her cousin.

Na'tali was a young girl from the Omatikaya Clan. She was so young she didn't remember much when she arrived at the Metkayina clan. She remembered small details, her parents fighting and yelling at her, her father began to hit her and she ran away. She remembered seeing lights of woodsprite landing on her and showing her a path. Then she remembered falling asleep and waking up in the arms of a teal looking Navi. She grew up with chief Tonowaris kids and he considered her a daughter. As a child she had a hard time fitting in because of the different way she looked. But her cousins always made sure she felt welcome and were always there for her. Na'tali didn't remember much of her childhood in the forest, hell it was years ago, she left when she was 6 and was now 15. She didn't miss her home, or what she remembers of it at least, she didn't miss her parents, as she basically raised herself. This was her home now, even though she didn't look like it, Metkayina was her home, her family, her identity. And she was accepted.

"Ikrans? You mean like from the forest?" Na'tali shouted back, Tsireya nodded and Na'tali instantly got curious. Tsireya and Na'tali were riding Ilus in the water when they heard someone shout "strangers" from the shore. They decided to race back to the shore to meet the arrival of these new Navi.

Na'tali had always loved meeting new people, she was pretty extroverted most of the time. Tsireya got out of the water and brushed her hair back out of her face and Na'tali did the same as she got closer to the crowd of navi she saw that they were a darker shade of blue like herself. She couldn't see their faces as other navi were too tall for her to look over. So she decided to just wait beside her cousin. Tsireya, who was looking at one of the Boys standing in the center of the circle that the Metkayina clan had made around them. She looked over her shoulder to see who it was that had caught her attention. It was a young Navi boy who looked to be around their age, as soon as he saw Na'tali his eyes widened and Na'tali just stared at him, and at their whole family.

"They.. they look like me" Na'tali whispered to Tsireya. Tsireya looked at the family and back at Na'tali and smiled.

"I know, so weird right? '' she teased. Na'tali scoffed and lightly shoved Tsireya's arm in a playful way. Na'tali then looked back at the family, she sensed something so familiar about them, not the fact that they looked like her. Something else, she just couldn't put her finger on it.

Tonowari and Ronal began circling the newcomers arguing with them. "I simply seek a safe home for my family" said the tallest avatar of the group. Na'tali assumed he was the father but she couldn't take her gaze off the 2 boys, and the what seemed to be older sister. There was more arguing and Na'tali wasn't really paying attention, when she suddenly heard the mother of the children say

"My husband was Toruk Makto".

Na'tali's eyes widened as she finally understood who they were. This was the family she spent her hours with as a young child. These were her old friends. She took a moment to process this, meanwhile she saw Ronal and the other wife which must have been Neytiri hiss at each other. Na'tali the whispered in Tsireya's ear.

"I think I know them" Na'tali said, Tsireya looked back at her in confusion.

"What do you mean you think you know them cuz?"

"Before I came here" she gulped.

"I was friends with the boy on the right" she pointed to Loak with her head and Tsireya didn't answer her as their conversation was cut off by their father. "My daughters and 2 Sons will train you, teach you the ways of the water and please children they will be like babies. Spare them the embarrassment of being useless". Tsireya and Na'tali both wide eyed and shocked looked at the family. Aonung began to protest with his father.

"It is decided," Tonowari said. Tsireya had an excited look in her eyes and signaled for Na'tali to come with her to show the newcomers their new home. Na'tali followed Tsireya, still in shock from how these people arrived. She didn't know what to say, she had disappeared from the village and barely knew these people. They were complete strangers to her now. She wondered if the boy who had initially looked at her, after looking at Tsireya recognized her. She couldn't remember their names either, they both looked so different from the blurry picture she had in her mind.

"Come, I shall show you the village," Tsireya said. She gracefully skipped to show the newcomers where they would be staying and they all followed her. Na'tali usually would have said hello or something, but she didn't know how to speak to them, she didn't know if they remembered her. Surely she got a couple awkward glances from them, but she assumed that was because she was a dark blue like them instead of a teal green like the rest of the Metkayina clan. After all Na'tali looked nothing like she did when she was 6. The only reason she knew who they were was because of Toruk Makto, she could never forget that name of the mighty warrior who led the clans to victory against the sky people.

As Tsireya was talking to the family and showing them where they would be staying, she saw how uncomfortable Na'tali was or how oddly shy she was being. She decided to grab her Aonung and Roxto to go and introduce themselves to the teenagers who seemed to be around the same age as them. After the parents thanked her she put her plan to action.

"Is it alright if I borrow the children Miss Neytiri?" she asked.

"Of course, Tsireya?" she nodded. "And there's no need to call me Miss," Neytiri sternly said. Tsireya nodded and took the kids and followed her out a bit including her brothers and Na'tali.

"So" she began, "my name is Tsireya, this is my brother Aonung, and Roxto and this is My cousin Na'tali".

Loaks eyes widened, he realized this had been his long lost friend. The one who had disappeared years ago. She was alive, he thought to himself.

Aonung scoffed at Tsireya being so nice to these newcomers, she eyed him with a "be nice" look on her face. Aonung thought they were freaks. Their arms were thin, their tail wasn't even a real tail, and they were such a darker blue than them.

"Nice to meet you" the older brother said. "My name is Neytam, this is my younger brother Loak, and my 2 sisters Kiri and Tuk" he politely presented them. Tuk hid behind her sister's leg covering her face. Tsireya smiled before crouching down to Tuks level "its ok we don't bite '' she laughed. Tuk uncovered her face and went to stand beside Neytam. Neytam put his arm around her to reassure her she was ok. Na'tali admired how sweet Neytam was with his sister, she never had that growing up with Roxto and Aonung, sure they would do anything for her, but they were genuanlly assholes most of the time.

"Well, if you weirdos are gonna live here you'll have to know how to swim" Aonung said annoyed. Tsireya elbowed him and he groaned quietly.

"Yes, that's why we shall start training tomorrow" she smiled. The 4 siblings nodded, then Tsireya, Aonung and Roxto began to walk away, Na'tali joined them, but not before looking back at them, she found oddly that Loak was looking at her, as was his brother. Maybe they recognize me, She thought to herself.

She mentally decided that she was going to talk to them the next day, get to know them and reconnect. She wanted to tell them who she was, but was scared that they wouldn't remember and that they would think she was crazy. I guess I'll find out tomorrow, she said to herself.

Little did Na'tali know Loak was wondering and thinking the same thing.
