-Kaden's POV-
"It's crossed off the list," Adam said, his eyes focused on the piece of paper in front of him.
"Good, that means there's just three left to go," I sighed. That last one wasn't so easy.
"Do you know what the next one is?"
"Remind me." I was currently abusing my Keeper's effects on me by snuggling up to his side in bed, allowing myself feelings of contentment and comfort.
"Confessions between Werewolves and Soul Wakers."
Ah.
"Well, do you have anything to confess to me?" I smirked, raising my head just enough to look up at him.
"You live in my head, Angel. You literally have access to all of my thoughts and feelings, if I was hiding something from you, you would know."
Adam smirked down at me as our eyes met, a playful twinkle in his eyes. He shifted on the bed, moving to hover over me, his knees on the bed either side of my thighs and his hands either side of my head.
"What about you? Any confessions?" He played along.
I pretended to think about it, and he chuckled, nuzzling his nose into the side of my neck.
"Hmm, none that I can think of."
"I confess," his voice became low; soothing, and seductive to my ears. "To wanting every single part of you to myself." He kissed up my jaw.
I smiled at his words. "You already have every part of me."
Adam pecked my lips, then my cheek, before kissing down my neck. He smirked. "I also confess to being so deeply in love with you, that nothing feels right without you anymore." He bit my neck lightly, one of his hands moving down to slip his fingers through mine.
"I love you too," I breathed.
"And my final confession," he whispered. "Is wanting to make love to you over, and over again, until we are too exhausted to move." I felt his tongue on my neck, licking a sweet line from his bite on me up to my ear.
My free hand found his waist, a hiss being pulled from my lips.
"Alpha?" We heard from the other side of his closed bedroom door.
We groaned in unison, hearing the bare whisper of a sorry sound through the door at our dismay.
"Business as usual?" I asked with an unsurprised smile.
"You know it, love." He rolled his eyes, leaning down once more to peck me on the lips, he lingered for a moment, his mouth barely touching mine, the feelings of tiny sparks passing between us.
When he finally pulled away, I felt a hell of a lot better than I did before. Okay, let's do this.

-Adam's POV-
The scout I had sent out to follow the rogue had reached his destination, and with that came war.
This wouldn't be a problem for us, so I wasn't too worried. The threat lay in their abilities to harm my pack members, I didn't want anyone to come to harm during this, but I already knew that was inevitable.
I led Kaden into the meeting room where we were greeted by the scout I had sent out, my beta, and a few other fighter wolves.
"Speak," I commanded, leaning back against the desk, and gesturing for Kaden to join my side.
