Chapter 1: Before it started

[It's been 19 years ever since Eggman's death has happened, everyone has their own lives while living somewhere else. Everyone except Sonic remains in the same village thinking about the adventures he had in the past with his friends and all the chaos that has happened with Eggman, but he mostly misses Eggman. Sonic has thought to himself that it's still remaining to be unfair without Eggman causing chaos and how the world is no longer fun for him. The more he thinked the more time flew by until it was night, Sonic was about to leave until he saw Amy Rose getting ready to have a picnic. Sonic thought to himself why Amy is having a picnic all by herself at night? He didn't want to be a burden but wanted to join Amy, giving her company so plus having nothing else to do, so he ran up to Amy to have a conversation]

Sonic: Hey Ames, long time no see
Amy: Oh hi Sonic, what are you doing here?
Sonic:  Nothing special to do, but why are you here all by yourself?
Amy: I'm getting ready to have a picnic all by myself, want to join me?
Sonic: Sure, like I said I got nothing special to do

[they both looked for a perfect place for their picnic blanket, it didn't take them long enough to find a very good spot]

Amy: Thanks for giving me company Sonic, I don't even remember the last time we had time to hangout
Sonic: It's been like what? 18-19 years?  It wasn't the same ever since the worlds have been in peace and our friends going to other places to have their own lives
Amy: You're not wrong at all, It hasn't been the same but at least the world is at peace now plus it's been years ever since I met all of our friends especially you. I think I was 12 at that time and fell in love with you at first sight.
Sonic: [chuckles softly] yeah.. When we were teenagers at that time, only that you were 12, a pre-teen while I was 15, a teen. I would always run away or avoid you from your clinginess. I was not ready for affection at that time.
Amy: I took notice when I realized that you were avoiding me, I was really clingy in the past [giggles], but anyways how's life?
Sonic: It's been lonely, I have no one to talk to or hang out with. All I have been doing these days is trying to save lives from accidents. It's been boring here, especially when you have friends that moved out of your place and never see them again, nor communicate with them
Amy: Do you have someone that you miss in particular?
Sonic: [trying his best not to cry] Tails.. My little bro. I miss him more than anyone else, he's family to me, I just wish I could see him again.
Amy: It's sad when special people are here with us and then leave.. But we have to deal with it, you may never know when you'll meet them again; the future is something no one knows what will happen. We don't know if it's good, bad, extraordinary, etc. We would never know.
Sonic: You're right Ames, thank you.. I really needed that.
Amy: Anytime Sonic, however it's getting dark. We should leave and get some rest
Sonic: Right.. [Gets up] I hope we could get to have days to hang out just like what we're doing right now; it's been nice seeing you again.
Amy: It's nice seeing you again as well Sonic

[Sonic and Amy gave each other a handshake and went off to their own sides, Sonic went up to a tree and slept there while Amy started walking back to her house.]
