Sean's Secret

Sean stood there watching her drive off to goodwill when his phone started vibrating. He took it out of his pocket and immediately recognized the unnamed number. She had been calling him almost constantly the past two weeks. Her name was Kelly and he had grown up with her and they even graduated the same year from high school. But he never had any interest in her but she was absolutely the opposite she had been obsessed with him especially when their families had thrown them at each other when they were really little. Ignoring the call he started to walk back inside when he saw Meredith Blackstone walking towards him and when she approached him she said "I can tell you that I approve of you two but I can tell you're harboring a secret and if you don't tell her and your secret ends up hurting her I will not be forgiving. She is my best friend I won't let anyone get in the way of her happiness. So tell her or else you may end up losing her in the future." He looked at her and said "I- we're not- no you're misunderstanding this we aren't doing anything- I mean" she put her hand up to stop him and said "Mr. Alley she likes you and I can tell you like her. I see it in the way you greet her and help her and especially the way you just helped her pack her car with that last box. Just don't let your secrets end up hurting her." He nodded and she walked over to her car got in it and drove off. He started walking back towards the school when his phone started vibrating again in his hand and he already knew it was Kelly. He didn't know if it was his mother or possibly his grandmother who gave her his number but he knew one thing he was going to change his number as soon as the school day was over and he was not going to give the new one to his mother nor his grandmother. He knew it might be cruel but it was the only way to get through to his mother and grandmother and Kelly. Her full name was Kelly Teresa Westmore and he hadn't seen her in six years. He didn't want to see her yet he knew she was going to find a way to visit. He had to prevent that. When he got up to his classroom he sat down at the teacher desk and started grading papers when once again his phone started vibrating he looked at it then held the power button until the phone shut off completely.

Casey got to Goodwill and was unpacking when Meredith's car pulled up alongside hers. When Meredith cut the engine and got out she said "Need help teacher seducer?" And she winked. Casey smiled and said "I would love some help from you!!" When they got the boxes into the store with the help of two employees they thanked them and left and when they got back to the school and got out of their cars and started walking in with each other when Meredith spoke up and said "So have you done him yet?!" Casey whipped her head around as her best friend said that and took a step back and replied "Oh My God!! Meredith!! No we only went to dinner we did nothing like that!!" Meredith put her hands up and said "Jeez I'm just kidding Case take it easy!" Then they walked back into the building to go to their third block classes. Meredith went to teen living and Casey went right next door to Gourmet foods.

Sean Alley was waiting for fourth block to start so he could spend his free block looking for Casey or trying to look for Casey. He sat at his desk while his freshman wrote their essays and wondered whether or not she had study hall or a free period fourth block in which he would gladly take either of those. So he went onto the school's grading system website to pull up her schedule and he saw that she had did indeed on B days have study hall fourth block. He looked at the clock and realized there were eight minutes left so he got up from his place at his desk and said"Alright we seem to have eight minutes left now you may keep writing till you finish or until the bell if you have finished put your done essay right her on this front desk on your way out at the end of class." He looked at the clock and headed toward his desk and began tidying up as his freshman began packing up to leave. He looked at the clock again and saw there were five minutes left. He grabbed his two senior class folders and as soon as the bell rung he made his way to his office and emailed her study hall teacher to have her go to his office. He wrote to her teacher: When Casey gets into study hall please sense her to my office as I need to work with her one on one. Thank you.

He pressed send and hoped it would get to the other teacher. He sat at his desk grading papers when there was a knock on his door an he said "Come in" thinking it was Casey he said without looking up from his papers "I have a task for you if your up for it of course. Its a little bit of extra-" he looked up and realized it wasnt Casey. "Kelly? What are you doing here?I'm working and a student of mine is gonna walk through that door any minute!! You need to leave!" She smiled and said "I'm not leaving Seany Bear! And hi to you too I came here because you have been-" "ignoring you!! Yes I have for good reason!! I don't want you in my life!!"

Casey was about to walk into his office when she heard "I have a student coming in here any minute you need to leave and yes I have been ignoring you Kelly because I don't want you in my life and I never did but our parents threw us at each other all our childhood and I never enjoyed it!! I'm working and you need to leave!!" Casey stepped forward and into the room and he stopped talking and looked at her and said "Casey thank you for coming let's go out of here and into the classroom ok?" She nodded and they went out of the office and into the conjoining classroom and she set her stuff down at a desk and said "Did I interrupt? Who was that? Should I be concerned?" He shook his head and said "She's no one just a family friend. Now I have a task for you if you're up for it. Well its more of an extra credit assignment." She nodded and said simply "Sure. But are you really ok Mr. Alley?" She was back to calling him Mr. rather than Sean. It bothered him but he knew that Kelly in his office may or may not be listening plus if he told her the truth she may never look at him again or even talk to him so he just continued with his assignment he had for her. "You have nothing to worry about and I am fine she's leaving soon anyway and- hang on I'll get the paper describing what you have to do." He disappeared into his office and she heard him say "I have a student in there who needs to work with me!! I want you gone! Now!!" As the woman walked out Casey didn't know Sean's secret.
