The one who arrived from London along with the one who came to pick her up entered the car waiting for them.

They started from the airport after
collecting the luggage.

While they were on their way home Nari asked the driver to take them to the guest house instead.

Jackson was worried but didn't object because he knew that going home to see her father's dead body wasn't something she is ready for.

Upon reaching the guest house Jackson and the driver stayed back while Nari went inside.

The moment she stepped in millions of memories flashed in front of her eyes.

Some of them she cherished a lot while some were her worst nightmares.

She closed her eyes for a moment to relax herself and entered her father's bedroom.

The bedroom was surrounded by the barricade tapes because that was where Mr. Kang died.

As she kept staring more the more her eyes welled up.

A lone tear slipped down her face after seeing the bedroom, her legs slowly gave in and she slipped to the ground, sobbing quietly into her hands.

She didn't let anyone see this side of her.

She always pretended to be okay to not let others worry.

But deep inside her heart, she knew she wasn't strong enough. 

She got herself together and went to the guest room and fixed herself to look appropriate because the media would be present near her house.

After getting dressed she got into the car and they drove back to the residence.

Before they could even enter the gate, the media, and paparazzi started filming her arrival.

The bodyguards were quick in their actions and covered her protecting her from the media, once she was inside the house, she was met with many business intellectuals, relatives, topmost officers, cops, and many more people who were there to pay their last respects to Mr. Kang.

It was hard for her to pretend to be strong during that situation.

And the boys knew she wouldn't be able to speak anything during this time, so they took care of everything and everyone who paid a visit.

She stayed quiet for the rest of the ceremony only bowing to the elder ones when approached.

Everyone who visited pitied her, of course, they will, anyone would.

She was someone who lost her mother at a very young age, stayed away from home for 8 years and now she lost her only family - her dad.

After what felt like a decade the ritual was finally finished.

Now the house was all empty once again just like 8 years ago until she heard the doorbell ringing.

She opened the door and saw the familiar faces, the faces of people who made her work alcohol life a little fun and enthusiastic.

She smiled and opened the door wider for them to enter.

Each one had a box of pizza and some of them had a cover of ice cream with them.

By the time she closed the door and came back, all five occupied the couch leaving one to sit down and she also had to sit on the ground along with the other one leaning onto the sofa.

" How are you all doing? " she asked while closing her eyes and relaxing for a bit.

" We are all doing good noona, but right now it's not about us it's about you. Are YOU ok? " the youngest of all asked while opening a pizza box.

"I'm fine. Let's talk while eating " she said while taking a slice of it.

" Nari yah, we all know how it must be for you so don't pressurize yourself. Take rest for a few days and then get back to work. " the eldest of the all suggested.

" Guys I'm taking charge as the official CEO of Kang Sol from tomorrow," she said while casually taking another bite of her pizza.

All of them turned their heads to her, " Nari you should prioritize your health first, you just landed today and it has been a lot on your plate. Why don't you rest for a couple of days ?"

"Doyong I don't wanna hear anything. Call the press by 10 am and I will give an official statement. Yuta you work on getting my office ready and please make sure it isn't messy like dads office. Win-win I want you to bring the remaining items of mine which are in London and also ask Johnny to take care of the London branch while reporting directly to me. Lee know you arrange all the files that dad was dealing with and arrange a staff meeting. Jackson, please get me the employee profile by 1 pm tomorrow. "

Everyone made a mental note of what they had to do tomorrow.

The five males who worked in that company along with her were now working under her.

" Woah! That was some classic CEO stuff right there " he commented after hearing the boss assigning duties to all his friends.

"Kun, get happy you aren't working in my company, or else I wouldn't have spared you too. Speaking of it how's your hospital going? "

" It is just as great as it can ever be. We got some of the best staff and everything is doing great. "

" By the way where is Taeil oppa? Why isn't he here?"

" He said he got some emergency in the hospital. "

After some serious business talk, the atmosphere lightened again and they enjoyed their pizza while talking about some nonbusiness-related stuff.

These boys were the only reason she smiled for the first time in the whole day.
