Day 4
(Y/n) had spent the night at Wayne manor. After teaching Cassandra the girl had insisted that he watch a movie with her and her friend Stephanie. Steph was a goofy girl who had also been fun to hang out with but the boy would still choose Cassandra over her if given the choice. After the movie the three had went to a restaurant for an early dinner.
By the beginning of the night (y/n) had been exhausted since he was used to sleeping most of the day and not hanging out with people. Cassandra had lead him to the guest room before insisting on tucking him in and reading him a bed time story. Of course with how bad she was at reading mixed with how tired (y/n) was he had ended up falling asleep before she could figure out the third word.
All of this came to (y/n)'s mind as he rubbed his eyes the next morning. He was surprised to find that he was still in the Wayne guest room and that Superman hadn't taken him home like he did when he was with Maxine. (Y/n) was then twice as surprised to realize that he had just thought of Superman's apartment as home. He quickly dismissed that before getting out of bed.
(Y/n) was quick to notice that his suitcase was by the foot of the bed. So Superman had been here. (Y/n) quickly grabbed the suitcase and pulled out a change of clothes. He placed them on his bed before heading to the bathroom attached to this room.
Once in the bathroom (y/n) took a quick shower before heading back to his room and getting dressed for the day.
It seemed that his timing had been perfect because it was that exact moment as he was pulling his shirt on that he heard a knock on the door. "Come on in!"
The door opened and Cassandra Wayne quickly stuck her head in and looked at the boy. "Food?" She quickly held up a silver tray with a cover on it.
"I'd love some" (y/n) nodded as he motioned for the girl to come in. She did as he said.
Once inside the room Cass was quick to walk over to the desk and put the tray down. She smiled at (y/n) and pulled the cover off to reveal the pancakes beneath. "I helped Alfred" she spoke proudly as she motioned for the boy to sit down at the desk.
"Then I'm certain I'll love it" (y/n) smiled causing Cassandra to reply with a wide smile of her own.
The boy picked up the knife and fork before cutting the pancakes into pieces. He stabbed the fork into one of the pieces before putting it into his mouth and eating.
Cassandra's smile widened as she watched the boys face while he ate. "Glad you like it"
(Y/n) nodded as he stabbed the fork into another piece. "Want to try?" He asked as he held the piece up to Cassandra. She considered for a moment before opening her mouth. The boy placed the piece of pancake in her mouth and she quickly ate it.
"Good" Cassandra smiled as she finished the piece. (Y/n) offered her another piece but she made a motion as if to decline it.
She sat on the desk beside the plate and watched as the boy continued eating. "Sleep well?"
(Y/n) shrugged. Truth was he hadn't necessarily had great dreams but he didn't want to say that. Unfortunately Cassandra once again saw right through him. "Sorry"
"Don't worry about it" (y/n) waved it off. "Nothing you could have done to stop my dreams"
Cassandra frowned knowing that he was right. She didn't like feeling like she could do nothing. "Right." She shook her head. "Finish up" she motioned to the boys food as he continued eating. "Big day"
"What?" (Y/n) asked and turned once again to Cassandra but she just smiled in response. "Fine, keep your secrets"
"Find out soon" Cassandra pat (y/n) on the head bringing out a minuscule smile from the boy as he finished eating. "Ready?"
"Yeah" (y/n) nodded as he stood up, prompting Cassandra to do the same. "Let's go miss Wayne" she offered him her hand and he took it.

"This is not what I expected when you said it was a big day" (Y/n) spoke as he sat beside Cassandra while sitting in the Wayne manor movie theater.
"Movie cheer you up" Cassandra smiled at the boy and lightly punched his shoulder.
"Right but how do you know what movies I like?" (y/n) asked before realizing the answer would probably have something to do with her tendency to see right through him. "Never mind"
"Better than what you'd do with Superman" Cassandra smiled as she turned her head back to the movie. "He pick you up tonight"
(Y/n) frowned and was glad Cassandra wasn't looking at him before quickly regaining his composure. "Alright" Cassandra frown and could tell he hadn't done a good job of making his voice neutral.
"You still come tutor" Cassandra smiled as she looked over at the boy and smiled again. "Every day"
(Y/n) gave a tired smile back. "I'd love to. Thanks Cass" she nodded and placed her hand atop the boys own.
"Will get through this" She nodded before once again turning back to the TV. "Now Enjoy. Have fun"
"Whatever you say" (y/n) nodded as he once again turned his head to the TV and tried his best to ignore the intrusive thoughts and instead just enjoy the moment with his friend.

(Okay so I need suggestions. I'm out of things for Superman to do to show (y/n) that life is worth living. I honestly can't think of any reasons to live besides the possibility of friends and love. Comment anything you've got)
