Allow me to introduce you to this year's contenders:
And here is Edward of Sodor.
Edward is surely a classic engine, and according to my notes, Edward was the one of the first, if not, the first ever engine to arrive on Sodor! Isn't that a surprise?
Edward may not be as strong or as fast as the other engines, but that doesn't stop him from taking part in this year's great railway show!
This year, Edward will be the first, and surprisingly only tender engine to take part in the shunting competition! What kind of plan do he have? And will it be enough to take home a trophy for Sodor? You'll just have to wait and see! Let's hear it once more, for Edward of Sodor!
