The party wasn't that bad. When Mina told me about this birthday party, I imagined a non-alcohol, lame music and everyone singing happy birthday while this guy blowed the candles of a big cake kinda thing.
But it wasn't that bad. The band ended up being pretty good, they played some good songs. After Bakugou's first song, Jiro singed the rest of them. And Yaoyorozu and Kaminari did some of the chorus. Todoroki only played the guitar.
After an hour or two, everyone was a little too drunk. It was funny watching the classmates that were pretty up tight lose up a little. Like Yaoyorozu. After some glasses of wine, she was on Jiro's face. Yay PDA I guess.
Mina never left my side. And maybe it was the four cups of alcohol that I already had, but I think I'm starting to like her. If she wasn't studying to be a hero, I belive we would be good friends.
After the band finished playing, some of the guys joined us.
-I need a shot, let's go!- said Mina to us.
We walked towards the drinks an poured some shots. Kaminari, Sero and Kirishima downed theirs and poured another one. Mina then grabed the bottle of tequila and gave me a plate with lemons slices and a salt shaker.
-Our mission for tonight is to get everyone drunk.- she wispered at me, and winked. -Midoriya! Have a shot!-
We walked towards him and I gave him a slice of lemon and poured salt on the back of his hand. Mina gave him the shot, he down it and made a face.
-I want one too!- said Ochako aproaching us with Tsu, Ida and Shouto.
-Do you want one?- I asked Todoroki.
-He doesn't take shots.- said Ida to me.
-I can drink a shot!- said Todoroki to me, standing next to me.
-But you barely even drink! Are you sure, Todoroki?- said Tsu.
-I wanna try.- he answered her and grabed a shot glass, and looked at me. -How do I do it?-
-First you lick the salt off the back of your hand. -I said and left the plate on a table, then I standed in front of him. I grabbed his hand and poured a little bit of salt on top of it, and then on mine. -Then you drink the shot, and put the slice of lemon on your mouth.-
Mina poured us two shots of tequila.
-Are you ready?- I said close to his ear, because the music was too loud. He nodded with a smile. -One, two... three!-
We both licked the salt on our hands, and took the shot. He squinted his eyes when the alcohol reached his throat. I grabbed a piece of lemon and put it on my mouth. But then I turned arround and saw the look of panic on Todoroki's face when he realized that I took the last slice.
In a quick, maybe not so well tought motion, I grabbed the slice that was on my lips and put it on his. He looked relieved with the taste of lemon juice washing the strong alcohol on his mouth.
Ok. Maybe I shouldn't done that... But he doesn't seem to care. I just hope that nobody saw that... God, I think I may be a little drunk.
I made a quick scan of the room to see if anyone had seen that. Everyone seem to be doing their own thing. Dancing, talking, drinking more shots with Mina... Ochako seemed like she was about to throw up that last tequila shot... But at the corner of my eye, I saw Bakugou leaning against a wall with some of the guys, staring at Todoroki and me. When he realized I saw him looking, he turned his head and continue talking to the guys.
-So? How was your first shot?- I asked smiling at Todoroki.
-Not that bad, the lemon slice helped a little...- he answered me.
