Not much happened the rest of the day. We spent the last hour of our work day on a rooftop of a tall building watching the city, waiting.
-This place has a nice view...- I said to Bakugou, who was sitting at the edge next to me.
-I often come here if there is not much happening.- he replied.
-To get away from your fangirls?- I joked, dangling my feet on the top of the rooftop.
-I don't like people asking me for pictures, or autographs.- he said.
-I can't imagine you taking pictures with a bunch of sticky-kids.- I told him.
-Oh, those are the worst.- he said.
We sat there in silence for some minutes, until Bakugou broke the silence.
-So... Are you going to explain to me why on earth do you think you are more experienced than me on hero work?- he asked.
-I was waiting for you to ask.- I started saying. -It's a long story, and pretty boring to be honest.-
-I don't have nothing better to do.- the blonde said.
-Well... When my quirk manifested I was living in an orphanage. My country authorities found out about it, and they took me to be trained to become a hero. So from that age, I been pretty much incarcerated at a goverment facility.- I began to tell him. -I had never been to a normal school, or had friends until I became 18 years old.-
Bakugou listened to me carefully. He was looking at me, paying attention to my story.
-I spent all those years training. And since I didn't had a family, a board of my country specialists where in charge of me. Technically they still are. But since I turned 18, they couldn't kept that hard of a grip in me. I was free to go out, make friends, go partying... But they are still my tutors, and they are legally in charge of me. So they made arrangements with the Japanese goverment to send me to U.A.- I told him.
-But why are you here if you don't want to be a hero?- Bakugou asked.
-I signed a contract. If I spend one year in U.A., the board of my country will finally leave me alone. It's their last chance to try to make me want to be a hero.- I answered. -And why U.A. you may ask? Easy. If I don't become a hero, my country's press will blame Japan, and not my country. I am kind of a big deal there, they call me things like "the goverments hero project" and the "country hero experiment".-
-And I tought that the press was rude here...- Bakugou said.
-So now I am in charge of a board of Japanese people. Endeavor is part of them, that's why he knew about it. They are trying to make me wanna be a hero so they can take all the credit.- I said. -And that's about it.-
-And what does Endeavor and the rest of the Japanese board know about you and the Tokyo Manji gang?- the blonde asked, raising an eyebrow.
-Well, I was in a gang back home. That's one of the reasons they sent me to the other side of the world, the Japanese board don't know that. And as far as I know, they don't know that I hang out with the Toman guys yet.- I said to him. -Now it's my turn to make questions.-
-What do you want to know?- he sighted. He pulled his hero mask off his eyes to his forehead.
He looks pretty with his mask pulling his hair back... More soft than ussual...
-Do you have a girlfriend?- I asked, looking at him with a cheeky smile.
The question surpsised him. He turned to look at me with open eyes, and almost choke with his own saliva.
-What!?- he asked, hoping he heard the wrong thing.
-I asked if you have a girlfriend, I saw you early training at the GYM. You look like you need sex.- I said to him.
-Why the hell are you asking me that?!- he said with an angry face.
-Or boyfriend... Whatever it is, you looked to tense this morning. You need to release some tension. Ralax. So, sex basically.- I said to him and laugh a little.
-I don't need... I'm not tense!- he shouted at me.
-Okey, okey! I'm just saying... You were screaming at a robot at six in the morning.- I said to him.
-Because that fucking robot was beating my ass.- he grunted at me.
-I don't get why would you get so angry at it. I mean, it is a robot. - I said to him, trying to understand.
-I just don't like to lose.- he said, and looked away to the city.
-It's not the same as fighting a human. The robot doesn't hesitates, it doesn't feel fear like a person would. From what I saw in class, you are a very good fighter. The best of the class.- I said to him.
He turned and looked at me, and smiled a little. I felt like he really needed the validation.
-Oh, no. Wait.- I said and put a finger up. -I was forgeting about me. Okey, you are the second best fighter in the class.-
-You wish! I am better than you!- he said and punched me softly on my shoulder.
-Stop, you are gonna end up pushing me of the building!- I said to him laughing, and returned the punch.
-I forgot you can't fly.- he said, attempting to push me again. -But I can, so if I push you over, don't worry. I can save you from the fall!-
