" Oh Alice I'm so sorry." My mother said squeezing the air out of me.
"I'll be ok Ma." I said
"She was your best friend and to have to witness such a thing."
"Can I just go for a walk to cool off?" I said squirming out of my mother's hug.
"Only if you promise to be careful." She said hugging me once more.
" I will, love you mom." I said walking towards the door
My mom never really cared where I was or how late I got home as long as I was safe. It's not that shocking that she let me leave. After all there's not very high odds that it's happens again.
I had been walking for maybe two hours. It's was 12:37 and I was hungry. I'm not one for workouts or any kind of activity. Vi was always the prettier friend people always though she was only friends with me to make herself look better but she really was a true friend. With all thoughts aside I new just the place to go to get some food.
There I stood in front of a small cafe that's in between Workout World and Workout wisely. Both mortal enemies with horrible names.
" Alice I saw the news yesterday how are you feeling?" One of the workers, Tristan asked me while cleaning off a table outside.
"Unsettled, sad." I said "How are you feeling you two were really close?"
"Not as close as you two. Come inside whatever you want it's on the house."
