Stranger (Jenna Ortega)

Me and my friends were hanging out in the mall.

"That food was so worth it" My friend, Will, says

"100% percent" My other friend, Ellie, says. (a little reference to my other book hehe)

I nod then suddenly spot a place lighting up

"Is that a laser tag?" I point to the place

"Holy shit yeah it is," Will says

"Let's-" I start before Ellie runs towards it with Will right after her

"Go." I shake my head and follow them

I was creeping around the walls and stuff with my gun and I heard someone running so I quickly ran towards the sound to shoot them.

I turned the corner and aimed my gun at the body.

"WAIT!" the girl says making me stop

I get a good look at her face and she's actually really pretty

wait why didn't I shoot her?

Suddenly I hear the gun sound and look down to see my light gone

"shit," I say

"your dumb for a cute one" she smirks 

"what's that supposed to mean?"

"Why would you actually stop?" She giggles

"You sounded really convincing" I fake frown

"JENNA!" Someone screams

"I got to go" she runs off

"wait- oh," I say but she's already gone

The game ends and I tell my friends about the girl

"well where did she go?" Ellie says

"I don't know."

"well did you even get her name?" Will asks

"I heard someone scream 'Jenna' and she said she had to go and ran off" I shrug

"And no number?"

"Nope," I say sadly

"Well, I guess she's gone," Ellie says

"Ellie," Will says causing her to shrug

"I felt like I fell in love with her or something"

"Why didn't you just say that? Let's go" Ellie says getting up

"We aren't going to find her." I shake my head

"Worth a try." She shrugs 

"How about we go to the comic store," Will says knowing that would cheer me up

"YES"

 I practically sprint into the store and look for comics that I would like, and I get stuck between these two.

"Deadpool or Spiderman?" A familiar voice says from behind

I spin around and see the girl from Laser Tag

"A hard choice huh?" She smiles

"Hey," I smile

"Hey"

"Here with a friend or something?" 

"What makes you think I'm not here for myself"

"I usually don't see pretty girls in this store a lot" I suddenly gained confidence

She blushes

"Well I do like comics"

"that's awes-"

"Jenna?" The same person from before calls her

"I guess I have to go again" She starts walking off 

should I have got her number?

can I still get it?

There's still time

Errr I don't know

I suddenly run after her

"Wait!" I softly grab her arm

"could I get your number?"

She smiles "Yeah," she says as she grabs my phone and puts her number in

"My name is Y/N by the way" 

"Jenna if you hadn't heard already," she says handing my phone back

"I have" I smile

"I got to go now. I'll talk to you later"

"Bye" I wave

"Bye, Y/N"

After she leaves I hit a little dance

"Was that her?" I see Ellie and Will behind a shelf

"Yes!" I nod excitedly

"You got her number?" Will says

"Yes!" I nod even more excitedly now, even hopping

"Yes!!" They both say, now we are all hopping
