Gloom

Dreamt

He was getting in my head more and more.
I started dreaming of him. Thinking he was in my room every night.
It felt real. But it definitely wasn't.

Me and Erica were giggling and talking about boys sense miko just asked her to the prom.

"Omg there he is! Be right back" she says running up to him twisting her hair on her finger.

I start waking more through the hallway and start slipping on yogurt that probably some dumb kid spilled and didn't want to clean up their mess. I felt like I was gonna go straight on my butt so I closed my eyes but I felt big hands with cold rings go against my skin catching me. I peek one eye open to see who it was and it was Jason. He was just looking in my eyes as I saw that it was him.

He lifts me back up and carries on waking through the hallways without saying anything. And I roll my eyes.

His mood swings are crazy.

It was now lunch time and of course we look at eachother again with are eyes never leaving and always someone looking away.

I was getting my lunch and hear footsteps behind me.
"Maybel" he says in his deep voice coming up from behind me
I turn around and he's like 2 inches away from me towering over me looking down.
I can't ever stay mad at him
"Maybe you should let me know when your right behind me before I bonk into you"
His mood changes and he has a serious face on now
"Maybel I think we should stay away from each other"
I look up at him with a smirk trying not to come out because we both know he can't stay away.
"Mmm, o really?"
He knows what I'm doing. "What if I'm not as good as you think I am. Hm?"
"I could be dangerous you know" he still says inches away from me I look around seeing everyone in the lunch room looking at us.

"I see what your doing and it's not gonna work" I say to him turning back around facing my food.
Then he walks away like always.

All of us went to the mall. Me, miko,Erica, Lisa, and Caleb. We were walking through a clothing store when we run into chase. "Hey Maybel" I turn around and it's chase with his friends but so identical almost brothers maybe?
"Oh hey! What are you doing here?"
He laughs a bit "what you talking about,this is my moms store."
Realization came
"Oh yeah right" i say zoning out.

I then hear Erica bring up James.
"What?" I immediately say
"We were just talking about how much James keeps talking to you" Erica says giggling. "James? James kyles?" Chase says
"Yeah why do you know him?"
I say
chases friends interrupt
"Yeah we know him, so much that the kyles are not allowed at the store"
His friends start laughing but chase stays silent and so do I.

All of our friends wander off to look at clothes then it's just me and chase.
"So uhm...the kyles they aren't allowed here?" I say wandering around the store.
"Oh uhm yeah I guess. It's nothing really just"
"Just what" I say
"Are families they just don't get along I guess you can say"

I nod my head a bit going into a daze as we start heading back to our friends.

We all separate and I'm not with Erica and Lisa. They are trying on outfits and Erica had the best body. She is so confident. I'm not really like a dressy person or skirt type I guess I don't know.
"Hey guy I'm not go get some coffee at the cafe want me to meet you guys at your house later?"
"Yep sure" lisa replies

"Okay see you then" I nod and walk out heading out towards the cafe. It was across the street from the mall so I had to go outside towards the ally way.
I didn't realize how dark it was.

I start to head down when I hear guys talking a corner from where I was heading. I see empty beat cans in their hand so I start to head in the other direction to not cause anything but of course they spot me.

"Well well what do we have here?"
The boy says looking me up and down. They reeked of alcohol.
I try to ignore them and walk faster but they caught me. "Come onnnn let's have some fun" he said slurring his words. My heart started racing.
The other guy started grabbing my waist and wrist as I shoved him off but another guy grabbed my other wrist. "Don't touch me you perv!" I say hitting him in the groin" "ow!" The guy replied they then begin to try and get me on the cement to ly me down. But the I heard one of them grown and heard a splatter. I turn around and see one of the guys with blood coming out of his mouth on the ground and hear another one getting hit in the face.

I look to see James pushing and punching all the guys off of me. Then grabbing my waist pulling me out of where they were circling around me and shoving me in his car. I was in shock watching all of them run away from him. I was catching up with my breath as James got in the car and driving off. Fast.

"Im gonna fucking rip their head off if I ever see them again" I look and his knuckles were white from gripping on the weel.

"What the hell was that!"
"I was helping you"
"By beating the shit out off them"
I take a deep breath and look back at him in surprise.
