With tears still in my eyes I watched as my brother went through security, sending me one last wave before walking out of my sight. Deep down I was happy for him, he deserves this, but on the surface the one consistent person in my life for twenty years just moved across the ocean. With no telling when I'd be able to see him again.
"You ready?" My best friend gently nudged my shoulder as I wiped some more tears from my cheeks, "I know what could cheer you up."
"What?" I asked, still steadying my breathing from the cry sesh I had not even ten minutes ago. Her arm linked through mine as we walked back to the parking lot.
"Wanna come to a shoot with me?" Her question made my frown turn into a little bit more of a smile since she knew I loved going to work with her. Kiara was a model for a a bunch of companies, she did shoots for clothing and makeup and for her own page.
"Is that even a question!?" I joked, pulling her along as the sadness was replaced with excitement.
As Kiara drove I felt my phone repeatedly buzzing in my pocket, pulling it out to see George had made a group chat.
