THE HOUSE IS QUIET, surprisingly.

Ophira had half-expected another fight to break out as they stride their way into the kitchen, dressed in a fresh, warm uniform and having adjusted their hair and makeup accordingly after the now subsided rainfall. The only ones occupying the space are Klaus and, to Ophira's disappointment, Five. Their gaze momentarily falls upon the sickeningly familiar boy who leans over the kitchen pantry with a rigid stance and searching eyes.

"Whatcha up to, numbnuts?" Ophira starts with a half-hearted tone, swinging their blazer over and around the narrow frame of their shoulders. They tuck their arms into the sleeves in one fluid motion as they falter by the makeshift dining table.

The boy doesn't bother glancing their way, straightening his posture the slightest as he rummages through the shelves. "Coffee."

Ophira's eyes trail momentarily towards Klaus, who has tucked his scrawny frame in a nearby chair, arms loosely holding a guitar close to his chest. Klaus cocks a singular eyebrow at the girl, lips pursing into a distant smirk, a universal symbol for 'I don't know either'.
Ophira refrains from snorting.
