Hunt For The Jedi

Fortress Vader, Mustafar

Taloh arrived at Fortress Vader hoping that he can find answers on how did the Jedi return and how can he prevent their numbers from rising. The Lambda class Shuttle landed in the hangar and Taloh was escorted by two stormtroopers to speak with Darth Vader.

Taloh waited in a briefing room and was gazing at the view of the lava streams below. Suddenly the doors slowly opened and heard Vader's breathing with his black armor gleaming in the light.

"Lord Vader," Taloh said bowing his head in respect. "I have come with urgent news."

Vader slowly approached him, "It's because of the Jedi sightings; isn't it?"

"Indeed my Lord," Taloh replied with an unsettled voice. "My brother, Damir Matarrin has returned and has escaped with Crimson Dawn. He could be plotting a crusade against The Empire if we do not act now."

"This is not the only Jedi encounter that we have had," Vader said in a cold tone. "The threat is not severe enough to launch an Imperial mobilization for only two Jedi."

"With all do respect Lord Vader," Taloh continued. "I sense that there are other Jedi operating given that Damir did not bring his lightsaber with him and why did he depart Sorgan with Crimson Dawn which is an infamous Crime Syndicate? Not to mention, what is his purpose to work with Crimson Dawn and who told him to go to them?"

Vader froze for a moment, "Indeed," he said. "We will send some Imperial ships across the outer rim to crack down on any criminal activity and send Inquisitors and Bounty Hunters to hunt down the Jedi. Excellent work Lord Matarrin."

Taloh bowed his head, "Thank you my lord. I will not fail you."

As Vader exited the room, Taloh activated his comlink to contact Quell.

"Quell," Taloh said with a dark tone. "There will be a million credit reward for the capture of a Jedi. Bring them to Nam Chorios if you find them."

"Yes Lord Matarrin," Quell replied. "I'll even contact the Imperial Super commandos to reinforce my search. Crimson Dawn and the Jedi will not escape Imperial hands."
