D'Neyah POV (( 17))
" So where are you suppose to be going again ?" My cheer friend Brittany asked me.
" I'm going out with my friend saint" I said and she let her eyebrows raise as she gave off this weird look.
" and who is he again?" she asked and so rolled my eyes fires of explaining it to her.
" for the thousandth time he's this guys i've been hanging out with who on the football team and in this school club i'm apart of." I said sighing and slightly mugging.
" oh I get it you want to add the star quarterback to your fuck list ! Damn girl why didn't I think of that...." she said and whispered the last part but I still heard her.
" no , it's not like that at all. We're actually friend and he's a really cool and sweet guy." I shrugged continuing to get dressed.
" i heard he's really shady and shallow , you better watch your back." she said and k stopped getting ready for a second so I could address her.
" Exactly , you heard but it's not true ! You think I would hang with a shallow and shady person?" I asked and looked her up and down before I spoke again.
" matter of fact i'm starting to see the real shallow ones." I said smirked before grabbing my purse and keys.
" you can show yourself out and don't come back." I fake smiled then turned it into mug before I walked out the house and drove to saints house.
Once I got there he was already waiting for me outside. I pulled up close to him so he can get in but he just stood there " What are you doing ?" I asked rolling the window down.
" get out because i'm driving !" he said tugging on the driver door handle making me shake my head laughing.
" but it's my car." I said and he just shrugged not caring.
" and I asked you on the date." He said and I just sighed in defeat unbuckling the seatbelt and getting out.
When I was fully out of the car I got to actually analyze his outfit and he looked good.
" Hey nae !"
"Hey D'Neyah!!" I heard and looked up seeing Sai and the twins waving at me from upstairs at they're front door.
I waved back before I ran to the passenger side of the car and getting in. " You ready ?" he asked and I nodded while he pulled off.
" So where we going ?" I asked anxious and excited. He just looked over towards me laughing and shaking his head.
" Somewhere" He said and I smacked my teeth.
" What ? it's suppose to be a surprise." he shrugged laughing at me but I still held my mug on my face.
" but you could slip me a lil clue assum !" i said smacking my teeth facing back towards the front of the seat.
" I know you not mad forreal" He said and I just sat there ignoring him.
Of course , I wasn't mad I just wanted to see his sweet reaction afterwards. It always makes me smile and gives me butterflies when he's sweet.
