Nicholas had formed a plan, not a full proof plan but one to help him find a path, perhaps somewhere to begin. It would take place the next day but right now Nick was kind of busy. Father Nick was the one overseeing lunch today. The boys were not rowdy but more silenced since it was the razor-tongued father Nick, that was what atleast the students called him between themselves.

Nick had gotten this name apparently due to his ability to be able to shut anyone up with his harsh-blowing words and if you didn't want your ego deflated it was best to be on your best behavior around him. The oblivious Nick apparently had a ear in a conversation between the only two female teachers, Katie and Mirabel who weren't nuns.

"-don't know why I like him so much" Mirabel said quietly but Nick's training also included making very efficient use of your senses

"I thought you said you liked Yacob"

"That was before I met him, Yacob knows how handsome he is and likes to use it to his advantage while Father Nick is so clueless about his own good looks"

"Oh com'on Mirabel he is a priest for crying-" Nick felt a tap on his shoulders which almost sent him flying but he remained calm and turned to see it was sister Margaret "Are you okay Father Nick you seemed to be distracted or perhaps are the boys doing something to bother you" Nick assured her that everything was fine before she returned back to her post which was apparently just looming around and keeping 'an extra eye out' — in which she had described it as— for Nick.

The day had finally come when Nick was to put his plan in action. It was early in the morning, a few minutes before the assembly. Right at the entrance door Nick had placed some written words on a paper; a talisman of some sort on the door which would not allow any demonic presence to get in, so anyone who was not able to enter would be seen as a suspect, which would help a lot in his investigation.

Sister Margaret was surprised when she saw Father Nick waiting already in the assembly hall. She greeted him with a polite smile and a quiet 'good morning'.

Students soon started filing in, Nick stared at the door for a while before making eye contact with the students from two days ago, Matthew and Liam 'definitely cancelling them from my list' Nick thought. He waited patiently as most of the teachers filed in. Nick was most especially waiting for Yacob but he didn't seem to show up even after the assembly had began. Nick felt climbing hope about being able to finally get this over.

That is until he saw Yacob, the man was about to walk in but he suddenly stopped at the door, his face scrunched up in distaste and he muttered something under his breath before looking back and leaving.

"Got him" Nick muttered under his breath before focusing back on what sister Margaret was saying.
