III -"Don't leave me!"-

After some days of fighting groups of Hilichurls and bandits, Cyno and Tighnari reached a bigger one made mostly of Mitachurls.
It was night and a storm was on top of them.

"We need to do it now and fast." Cyno ordered. "The Akademya sent some help two days ago, it will be here in hours."
"Are we sure that they will come?" Tighnari asked with an annoyed look.
"We can only trust."
A thunder came after Cyno's voice, announcing that it was going to rain.
"Now!"
Cyno faced them first, hitting the big ones first.
Tighnari he aimed and poisoned most opponents from a nearby rock.
Some minutes before they tried to make a plan, and it was working, until a light and a huge noise exploded behind Cyno.
"UGH--"
He turned and saw Tighnari laying on the ground, electrified and showing no signs of life.
An Electro Abyss Mage concentred its power all around Tighnari making a big lightning hit him.
Something in Cyno snapped.

In less than a minute all the monsters were defeated and Cyno was on his knees trying to heal Tighnari.
"Tighnari! Wake up! This isn't a joke!" He was in panic, no one ever saw him like that, his voice was so angry and worried, he didn't want to lose his dear Tighnari.
