Sweeney Todd one shots

( I figured I'd do a part 2 of chapter 1 😉 and I suppose I'm still doing these one-shots here so stay tuned for more guys )

Y/n: " I smiled after Mrs. Lovett left and I then I looked around the room it wasn't pretty small but I wasn't gonna complain I finally had a place to sleep and I didn't have to worry about being on the streets again because back in America people didn't take to kindly to that and I doubt they'd ever take it kindly here as well ' anyways I got out of my thoughts and I started unpacking what little stuff I had brought with me or managed to ".

                      ( Next day )

Y/n: " I was sweeping the floors with me broom when I heard a loud thud come from upstairs and I just stopped and looked up at the ceiling for a few mins "

Mrs Lovett: " I quickly slammed my bowl onto the counter where I was baking so she'd get distracted and luckily it worked "

Y/n: " Mrs Lovett... "

Mrs lovett: " yes deary "

Y/n: " I wonder umm what's Mr Todd look like?? I'm just curious I've never really seen him before and I- " .

Mrs lovett: " I say why don't you go up there and here bring him his daily food or something so you have a reason to go up there ' then you can see what he looks like I wink at her "

Y/n: " oh no I'm afraid I have to still sweep I can't and he's probably busy again anyways and he'll be mad if I go up there and "

Mrs lovett: " it's perfectly fine to be curious love I know you've been curious of him since day 1 when you got here I'm sure if you ask him something he won't be mad because you did " .

Y/n: " I don't know "

Mrs lovett: " suit yourself then and keep sweeping I'll take the food up to him it's fine "

Y/n: " ok I smile shyly then I go back to sweeping, and as soon as I'm done I begin baking more pies weirdly lately the pies have gotten extremely better tasting than before ' I mean when I first came here I was very hungry and just ate the nasty looking things but now they taste so much better I wonder what Mrs Lovett puts in them nowadays because we get so many costumers now then we did before "

Sweeney: " Excuse me I say loudly " .

Y/n: " I freeze and stop sweeping then I meet his eyes yes sir what do you need?  "

Sweeney: " I need Mrs lovett where is she "

Y/n: " she left she was bringing you you're food for the day I gulp " .

Sweeney: " My food is there I say pointing to it behind her "

Y/n: " oh umm ok well she must've gone somewhere here sir and I hand him the tray then I continue sweeping "  

Sweeney: " you aren't from around here are you?? "

Y/n: " no I'm from America "

Sweeney: " America that's where I met my wife I whisper " .

Y/n: " you're what I say looking at him again although I did here what he said I just pretended I didn't "

Sweeney; " n-nothing just tell me when Mrs lovett is back so I can speak with her got it "

Y/n: " I nod at him and after that he takes his tray and leaves 'I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and continue to clean the place up a bit more and when I'm done I go behind the counter and begin making pies "  .

                     ( later on )

Y/n: " As I was sitting having a glass of ale Mr Todd came walking into the room and he sat down opposite of me and grabbed the bottle from where it was with me and took a huge gulp I just decided to not say a thing and instead I looked out the window " .

Sweeney: " you aren't much of a talker are you?? "

Y/n: " I shake my head no "

Sweeney: " where exactly are you from in America "

Y/n: " I'm from a little town called White Bridge " .

Sweeney: " interesting name "

Y/n: " I suppose but it has awful people in it and I take another sip of my drink "

Sweeney: " why? What happened "  .

Y/n: " I was abused my father and mother abused me they always hurt me in the worst ways possible I don't like to talk about it so that's all I'll say "

Sweeney: " how did you end up in London this isn't the greatest place for young ladies such as yourself there's lots of vial men here...  and I slam my glass down onto the table again "

Y/n: " I flinch as he does that "

Sweeney: " what's you're name by the way "

Y/n: "it's y/n uh what's yours "

Sweeney: " it's Sweeney todd "

Y/n: " that's a unique name "

Sweeney: " you'd be the only one that thinks so I smirk " .
