By the time the King awoke the sun was getting ready to set and most of the castles lights had been lit, the candles scented throughout the castle and Izuku couldn't help but enjoy the lavender scent.

Katsuki hissed at the pain as he jolted awake, he instinctively shot up and creased his wound which instantly sent a wave of nausea ringing throughout his being.

"Shh! You need to stay down." Izuku ushered the King back on his pillows and frowned at him.

"Izuku..?"

The Omega rolled his eyes and faked hatred, "You're such an idiot." really though, Izuku was happy to see the King awake and breathing. The worry he had been burdened by could now lift some weight off his shoulders.

"Are you okay?"

Izuku's faced reddened as he saw the Alpha looking him up and down as he silently checked out his body.

"Yes, obviously. I've stayed in, just like I promised."

A small smile spread onto Katsuki's lips as he layed his head back and closed his eyes. The silence between them was almost deafening and the awkwardness of the situation was now dawning on Izuku.

"Are.. you hungry?" Izuku quietly asked as he fiddled with his shirt.

The King peered up at the ceiling. "Yea."

Izuku nodded and quickly turned to head for the door before he hesitated.

"Can I leave..?"

Katsuki chuckled but approved of the Omega's leave, by the time Izuku had come back Katsuki had wormed his way up to a sitting position with a heavy arm crossed over his stomach.

"Are you okay?" Izuku walked over and handed a bowl of soup to the King.

"If he hates it I swear..." Izuku embarrassingly scolded himself. Considering the late time, Uraraka had left the food for the King as she wanted to clock off. She had already stayed behind an hour than she usually would and so it was up to Izuku to finish off the food for him.

Katsuki's face seemed to express being pleasantly surprised though as he took his first spoonful, and than another and another short after the second.

The silence was again, deafening and obvious. It was awkward again and the atmosphere felt thicker than before, but Izuku knew he needed to wait this time for Katsuki to initiate. If he wanted to talk, he'd say something and right now, he was busy.

Izuku stranded over to the desk he slumbers under and sat on top of it. He felt his inner Omega curl and preen as he saw the King had finished the bowl of soup and didn't even look an ounce disgusted.

"What the hell?" Izuku frowned and growled at his Omega, getting mad at how fast the stupid thing could change its mind on someone.

"You're starting with the growling again? I didn't even do anything." Katsuki weakly held up his hands in defence.

"Not at you." Izuku mumbled.

"Sure."

"What happened?"

Katsuki bit his lip as he eased himself out of bed so he could sit up on the edge properly.

"Fucking asshole swiped me, that's all."

Izuku remembered what Uraraka had said earlier.

"Who?" Izuku played dumb and watched the King carefully as he struggled to stand.

"No one important."

"Where are you going?"

Katsuki restrained back a growl from the sudden pain that reared up his entire being, all the way from his stomach up to his head. The pounding pain giving him a massive headache as blood rushed to god knows where. The coldness of the air even had an effect on him now, he didn't even realise he had been marinating in a pool of his own blood.
