Chloe sat in bed and sighed. She couldn't sleep. All that she could think over was what had happened. All that she could think over was how unhinged that Becky was and how she was trying to get to her and she hated it
Chloe knew how edge that she seemed to be and she hated it. She stood from her bed as she walked into mias room. She looked to see her daughter sleeping and smiled. She walked over to her and smiled as she placed her teddy next to her and smiled as she tucked her daughter in
Chloe knew how things were and she knew how hard it was but she knew how she was trying to do what was best for her daughter and to keep her safe.
Chloe walked back ti her bedroom as her phone beeped. She saw that it was a text off of cal and smiled as she rang him "where are you? Are you with her?" Chloe asked as she heard him chuckled
"No. I ended it with her" he said as Chloe found herself smiling
"Can you come over. I'm so anxious and I feel scared" she said as he smiled
"Sure. Chlo?"
"Hmm"
"She can't hurt you. She got arrested and I never wanted to be with her. I ended it. It's you Chloe it's always been you. I don't want to pressure you into anything but I want you to know I want you back and I want to be a better dad to my daughter, to our daughter" he said as Chloe looked to him and smiled
"Your a great dad cal. You really are. I never wanted to come between you two"
"It wasn't you. It was her. It's all going to be okay I promise. I'm here for you" cal said as Chloe smiled to herself

Chloe got to work the next morning and smiled as she saw Leigh "did I see cal take Mia into the crèche or are my eyes deceiving me" Leigh asked as Chloe looked to her sister and rolled her eyes
"It's not like. He came over. We fell asleep nothing like that. He ended it with Becky. She got arrested"
"And suspended. She's been posting things on the notice board and Charlie caught her. She's been suspended for bullying. It's likely she'll get the sack as she wasn't apologetic she was blaming you and you know how much Connie values you" Leigh said as Chloe smiled
"All of this is a mess" Chloe said as Leigh smiled
"It's not your fault. Look if you and cal do think you can do this, make a go and be happy then you should go for it" Leigh said as Chloe smiled
She didn't know what to think

Chloe got back to the flat with cal. He carried in mia who was asleep and out her to bed. Chloe smiled as cal followed her to the bedroom as she placed the pile of washing on the floor
She turned around and saw cal and smiled "we could do it you know" she said as cal looked to her and frowned
"What are you saying" he asked as she smiled
"I'm saying we have a daughter. Nothing has been simple but we could try and give us a go. If it's what you want you want too" she said as cal smirked
He placed a hand on her cheek and smiled as he leant in and kissed her.
"I want it more than you know" he said as Chloe smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer.
But with everything that was going on. Could they make it work?
