The sound of fading screams, roars and low growls filled the school hallway with horrifying music of seemingly instant demise.

With a boom, a zombie hurled into a locker and its face was smashed in by someone's foot! "Oh man, my Air force ones." Steve granted and I chuckled. "I think that how we look will be the least of our worries."

"You have any idea how expensive these were mate?" He asked matching my tone of sarcasm. "Then you shouldn't have bought white... Shhh listen." I told him and crotched.

Steve followed suite and we both looked down the hall. "Our class is just beyond those monsters, how can we drive them away from there?" Get asked and I stroked my chin as I thought of a solution.

"I have a plan." I whispered and Steve arched his eyebrows wondering wat I had planned.

I picked up my Cylindrical wireless speaker and connected it to my phone. We hid inside the lockers and I casually scrolled through my playlist and picked a song.

I threw the speaker as far away as possible and played *Down in Atlanta by Travis Scott.*

The zombies ran in the direction of the music and Steve nodded his head in approval.

The moment all the monsters crowded around the speaker, we jumped out and bolted for the stairs. We raced for our lives and one of the zombie kids turned and pointed out way! It let out a high pitched screech to alert its friends of what was on the menu!

"Smart ones aren't they mate!" Steve shouted and increased his pace! I grabbed one of the fire extinguishers and sprayed the monsters before they could get us.

I abandoned the device and shut the door that led to the second floor. We dashed through the halls and saw bodies of zombies on the ground with bullet holes in their heads. "Someone has a gun, that will be useful." I told Steve who nodded at my deduction.

We arrived at the classroom but the door was locked. I repeatedly slammed my body against the door to hopefully unhinge the rusty hinges.

Eventually I was able to knock down the door with Steve's help. The girls inside screamed and threw a flower vase at me. Steve sang his bat and smashed into a million shards of brown clay.

"Relax, its us." I said with a scoff and dusted my shoulder. "Relax!? How can we relax with those things roaming the school!?" Nia screamed and started to breath rather heavily.

"No no, they are roaming the streets too." Hikari teased and Nia fainted. "Really?" Yao Lin questioned the punk who answered with a mere shrug.

"Where is the teacher?" I asked and one of the students spoke out. "Um.. She went out with the two class representatives to see what was going on."

"Guess she is one of them too huh mate." Steve spoke casually and checked his bat like it was a special type of gold plated gun. "Guess we gotta do what we gotta do." I said copying his tone.

"One of what? What's out there?" Yao Lin asked and Hikari answered with her phone in hand. "Zombies."

She said and pressed play on her video app to play the news. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are here to announce and uprise of the Apocalyptic Zombie infestation. There is no kinder way to put it folks, all of the world the new pandemic turned infestation as led to devastating drops in the human population! The UN has decided that survivors should hurry into stationed bunkers in their respective countries before they are purged with nuclear missiles. Good luck everyone may the Good Lord be with....." The broadcast was cut off along with the cellular networks.

"Damn, the bars are gone!" Steve said and as if on cue we heard the sound of low growls at a distance. The lights flickered to show a feminine figure down the hall which suddenly disappeared into the darkness.
