I was so scared that I couldn't see you again."

When she was 16,

Sooji jumped to her bed the second she opened the door. Her manager went to her room as they took a rest after days of staying at a hotel near the set.

She looked through her private social media, where she could see posts from her closest friends. She also scrolled to the news, a few times spotted her parents on the headline or someone else, she was friends with.

"Sooji-ya!" she heard her manager shout, followed by movement around her. Then she realized, it wasn't her headache she thought it was. It was the earthquake.

"Hide, Sooji-ya!" her manager shouted as the building shook rapidly. She ran under the bed, covering her head with her hands. She knows how earthquake-resistant her apartment building is. However they were on the top level, and everything could go wrong.

Her lips never stopped, whispering every prayer she remembered. Suddenly, her mind went to her family, and her friends, in South Korea. How could she die when she was a hundred miles away from her family?

She felt someone touch her shoulder, "Thank god, you're safe," her manager pulled her from under her bed. "C'mon, we need to go, before the following earthquake," grabbing her bags that were filled with their document, luckily she always had them whenever they had shot.

They ran through the emergency stairs. Sooji never let go of her hand. "Sooji, look at me. Don't mind others," it's not even a quarter of the stairs, but people hysterically started running through the stairs, pushing everyone that blocked their way.

"Eonnie," when they reached the lobby, they instantly hugged, and couldn't hold their cries. YG's other manager who dropped them before, ran to their side, "Are you okay?"

Aside from both manager's life, they also have to protect Sooji, their artist.

They stay in the lobby for more than two hours. One of Japan's biggest earthquakes just happened a few hours ago. It doesn't affect Tokyo, the city Sooji lived in Japan, but they had no connection and the electricity went down for the time being.

Her managers chose to take Sooji to their Japan office. Even if something happens again, they won't run 20 floors like before.

"Sooji, David and I will try to contact Boss and your family. I know they are worried right now."

"Eonnie called your family too. They are also waiting for your calls," Sooji told her manager. Sooji hated it when people prioritized her above anything else. Sooji knows while she was in Japan, she was put under their charge. They, and the rest of YG Japan were the ones responsible for her and her schedule.
