Lei was sat at a table with Hantu and Percikan, ragging them about the blue boy in the forest.

"Lei, you are a liar." Hantu dauntingly laughed in her face.

"I am not you can ask Lahar." She rasped thwartly.

"Lei, Omatikaya is the tribe of Toruk Makto. They don't need us." Percikan added on to Hantu's argument.

"Oh my Eywa. There were 5 blue and green ikran, and the same night—"

"Fnu Lei. Please." Hantu hissed.

Lei was sharpening Awani's dagger, Awani has always had trouble sharpening her tools.

"Was he pretty?" Awani sneered, kicking her feet that dangled off of the bridge.

A laugh rumbled throughout her chest, of course Awani would ask a question like that.

"What stopped you? He could've been with the Sky People." Awani slanted her head so it merely brushed her shoulder.

"An atokirina." Lei looked to Awani to gauge her reaction.

"Really?" Awani's eyes widened.

"It was strange." Lei continued to sharpen her friend's knife.

All was sound in the village, until the same 4 Ikran from yesterday evening landed on a dirt patch about 50 yards away from the village.

"Lei, look." Awani stood quickly, yanking Lei upwards. Lei's ears flattened, she began to make her way over with Awani.

"Hantu, look at that." Percikan grinned, tapping Hantu on the shoulder. Hantu shook his head, dropping what he was doing to go examine the foreigners.

Everyone began to gather around the strange Blue People, the same group of young Na'vi from earlier found Lei and Awani.

"Look at them." Hantu wrinkled his nose.

"Agh." Lei hissed, slapping Hantu's arm. "Fnu."

The Chief's son, Ka'toa, mustered a whooping noise, calling his parents. His sister did the same, soon enough the Olo'eyktan and his mate arrived. Jake and his family pointed two fingers from their foreheads outward, signaling "I see you." It's a sign of respect and peace.

"What brings you and your family here?" La'wan aggressively questioned, she invaded each of the Blue Na'vi with her intrusive gaze. Katu stood with his hands at his sides, awaiting one of the Omatikaya to speak.

"We come seeking Uturu." Jake spoke. La'wan's facial expression angered.

"Omatikaya is at war, we are not." Katu stepped a smidge closer to Jake, surveying his family.

Lei met eyes with the boy she threatened the previous eclipse, he repeated the 2 finger gesture towards her hesitantly. She furrowed her eyebrows yet reluctantly dipped her head slightly, Matahari precipitously stepped in front of her sister. Matahari casted an unwelcoming stare towards the boy.

The Olo'eyktan and the Tsahìk continued to speak with the two Na'vi, somehow, the woman negotiated and convinced La'wan to let them reside in her village.

"My people, we have promised Toruk Makto and his family Uturu. Show them the ways of the the Nyala Api. And you all," Katu looked to the group of teens. "Show their children our world. And with respect." Katu instructed sternly, Hantu grumbled to himself. Lei and Awani looked at eachother, they shared the same expression. "Leyra, Ka'toa, show them to their hut." The chief's children nodded, branching away from the crowd. The Sully Family followed, Neteyam had a disheveled look on his face.

"Which one was he?" Awani caught up with Lei. The pair of Na'vi were instructed to gift the Sully family some warm cloth and blankets for the cold season.

"The eldest son." Lei picked up a basket, handing it to Awani.

"I wouldn't have killed him either." Awani smirked, beginning to make her way to the Sully's hut.

"Oh Awani." Lei snickered, following her.

Lei didn't bother to knock on the Sully's wall, she moved the hanging flap aside. "We have cloth for you all." Lei dipped her head. Awani and Lei set the two baskets down beside the entrance of the hut.

Neytiri approached the two girls, "Thank you." She gave a slight smile, Lei and Awani nodded. Neteyam was sat next to his siblings, he was staring at Lei.

"Is that her, Neteyam?" Lo'ak, Neteyam's younger brother, whispered into his ear. Neteyam nodded, looking back at his siblings.

"She tried to kill me." He looked at Lo'ak, shaking his head.

"You weren't really supposed to be out in the woods in the middle of the night in strange lands, Neteyam." Kiri smacked him in the head, walking past him and up to the two girls. He let out a light hiss.

Kiri dipped her head, standing next to her mother. "We will begin lessons tomorrow." Awani smiled at Kiri warmly, Lei on the other hand had a blank look on her face. Neytiri took great note of the behavioral differences between Awani and Lei, she looked back at her two sons. Neytiri's intuition told her something had occurred between Lei and one of her sons, she pulled Kiri away from the two.

"My sons, come." Lei and Awani exchanged glances, exiting the hut.

"So, what happened?" Neytiri sat her 4 children down. They were all silent, until Tuk, the youngest sibling, snitched on Neteyam.

——————————————————————

"You what?" Neteyam's father stared down at his son, with a confused look on his face. "You're lucky she didn't kill you. She had every right to and—" Neytiri grabbed Jake's hand, calming him down.

"Do not wander off again." Neytiri finished for Jake, "Your father is right."

"It won't happen again." Neteyam assured his parents.
