⚠️caution!!!⚠️
this chapter is a little bit sexual 🫢🫢"Lahar?" Lei dazedly called as she poked her head into each separate room of her hut. The rain pounded on the walls and roof of the structure. The weather had brought Lei's mood down as is, but her family was undergoing another day of grieving.
Lei as well as her family aren't the type to share their feelings or express their emotions, for the most part each of them had coped by themselves.
She approached her sister's room, unsure if she really wanted to speak to her. She halted dead in her tracks before pulling back the flap to enter Matahari's room.
"You are staying. Do not ask again." Eta'yla had entered the hut.
"Lei is going and I want to go with her."
Lei turned and hurriedly walked to listen in on what her brother and mom were bickering over.
"What do you think, Lahar? You are staying here." Eta'yla struggled to keep her composure when speaking to her son.
"What?" Lei queried, slowly walking from around a corner. Eta'yla looked to her son while she sucked in a forcefully deep breath.
"He wants to be a Koa."
Lei waited for either 1 of them to say something more. She wasn't sure what her mom wanted her to say.
"You are his mother." Lei bucked a shoulder.
Eta'yla shook her head and turnt her head to Lahar to evaluate his expression. "Olo'eyktan will call you when it is your time. You will stay here, now." She concluded. "And Lei, you have teachings today." Eta'yla informed her daughter with a sullen tone, she was still upset about her daughter constantly spending time with the foreigners.
"Can I come?" Lahar asked his mother.
"You are a bodoh." Eta'yla teasingly hissed while pressing her index finger to his temple.
Lei reluctantly walked through the rain to the Olo'eyktan's hut in search of her usual gaggle. Which she did when the buzz of loud and obnoxious voices loudened with each step she took towards the hut.
When she stepped foot inside she was pleasantly met by Awani. "Lei, there you are." She spoke with her usual smile.
Lei dipped her head to the girl, her eyes then scanned the room to take note of every Na'vi. "Hey." Awani tapped Lei to regain her attention. "Have you heard?"
Lei thought for a moment. "...About what?" She wasn't sure if she truly wanted to know.
"Mawey." Awani nudged Lei's shoulder gently, letting out a small giggle at her reaction. "We are sleeping in the forest."
An audible grimace escaped Lei's lips. "Why?" She whined.
"Kiri wanted to." Awani plastered on a mediocre smile, then prancing off to Eywa knows where. Awani strongly disliked staying in the forest overnight.
Lei shook her head. She approached the large group of boys to find her few friends. She recognized Hantu's untamed hair and tapped on his shoulder blade. He peered to her with an unamused look.
"Are we really sleeping in the forest?" Lei asked, she was not going to accept the fact that her opinion was overruled.
"Yes skxawng." He rolled his eyes, returning back to his conversation.
Before Lei could open her mouth to retaliate Tsahìk La'wan appeared in a doorway of the hut. Her body language read annoyed and aloof — as it normally did.
