Chapter 12

Ross POV

"She is in the hospital?"

"Yes we need to go."

Rydel pushes me into the car. She gets in the drivers seat with Ratliff riding passenger.

I can't believe Laura is in the hospital.

"What happened?" I ask

Rydel and Ratliff ignore me.

"Guys. What happened?" I ask sternly

"Should we tell him?"

"It's up to you Delly."

Ratliff looks back at me.

"Laura was going to meet Evan and she slipped on a sock on the stairs. She broke her ankle, and cut up her stomach really bad."

"How did she slip?"

"She was wearing high heels and just slipped."

I breathe a sigh of relief.

"Ok good. I thought she got in a car accident."

"No she didn't. Vanessa texted and she said she woke up."

I lean back in my seat. I look out the window thinking of Laura. I hope she is ok.

We pull into the parking lot and walk into the hospital.

"Hi we are here to see Laura Marano."

"Ok. Her room number is 1655."

"Thank you!"

We walk to her room to see some really tall guy who looks like a moose storm off. Who is that guy? Evan was there too chocking Laura in a hug.

"Hi Laura." I say knocking on the door

"Hi Ross!"

A smile grows across her lips.

"Hello? What about me?"

I sigh and look away.

"Hi Evan." I say with a mad tone

"Hey Rossy Bossy. How's life? I haven't seen you in a while."

"I'm great I guess."

"You guess? Well someone doesn't seem happy."

"Yea cause nobody likes you you idiot." I mumble under my breath

Rydel puts a hand on my shoulder. I think she wants me to calm down.

"Who was that guy that left?" I ask in a nice tone

"Oh that was Sam. Vanessa's boyfriend's brother."

"Who is Vanessa dating?" asks Rydel emerging

She goes and gives a hug to Laura.

"She is dating Dean Winchester I think."

"Oh ok. Hey I'm gonna go to the cafeteria I will be back. Want anything?"

"No I'm ok. Thanks Ross!"

Laura gives me a big smile. I think she is glad I'm here.

I walk out of the room and to the cafeteria.

As I arrive in the cafeteria I see Sam sitting with Dean and Vanessa. I awkwardly walk by.

"Hey Ross!" says Vanessa

I turn around.

"Hey Vanessa."

"Did you just get here?"
