How Anna Met Vince

Chapter 8

*Vince's POV *
I held her tightly clearly relaxing in the moment.
"Can I ask you something?" I cooed. Her head popped up as she looked at me, "Yes?"
I moved to sit her next to me as I reached into the bag.
"Ever since I first met you back in highschool- I knew you were special. So, as soon as we met again. I knew I wanted to date you."
"Okay?" Anna asked confused.
"So, before today I went out and visited a store to get you something to commemorate our relationship."
Her eyes widened, "You didn't have to get me anything Vince"
I chuckled softly, "I know, but I wanted too," I answered as I reached into the beach bag and pulled out my Tiffany and Co jewelry box before continuing, "So with this gift, will you be my girlfriend?"
Her eyes widened, "Is that Tiffany and Co?!" She squealed.
I nodded and handed her the box and asked again, "Will you be my girlfriend?"

*Anna's POV *
My eyes widened once again as tears formed in them and I nodded, "Yes!"
I couldn't contain my excitement as I launched into Vince hugging him and kissing his cheeks.
"Will you open it for me?" I whispered.
He held me tightly and nodded as he held the box in front of us as he slowly opened it. I gasped as he revealed a Tiffany Solitare Diamond Pendant.
I moved my head to look at him, "Oh Vince! It's beautiful. But it's so expensive. It's from Tiffany"
He held me tightly and slid the necklace on before answering, "It's worth it. But now you'll carry a piece of me wherever you go"
I nodded and looked down at it before I answered, "I love it"
I hummed contentedly and leaned into him before asking, "When will I see you next, after today?"
His hand curved around my hip as he answered, "Tomorrow. I'll take you out to dinner"
My eyes widened, "Tomorrow?"
"Yes princess," he cooed.
I beamed brightly and stood up before asking shyly, "Wanna go swimming?"

*Vince's POV *
I laughed and nodded as I stood up and started towards the water. I wasn't surprised as she followed me in, she dove in first and I dove in shortly after. I watched my southern beauty as she swam without a care in the world. I floated casually on my back as I allowed myself to completely relax but listen for the sounds of my girlfriend.
Eventually as I was zoning out I felt a weight hit my back.
"Ah!" I exclaimed shocked, trying to keep myself upright before realizing it was Anna climbing on my back.
"What happened?" I asked with a soft chuckle.
"A fish nibbled on my foot!" She squealed, wrapping her legs around my waist.
I laughed loudly and held her securely before saying, "Babe- You're in the fishes home. They can nibble on you whenever they want"
"Now they won't! They'll just go get you,"she laughed.
I laughed before saying, "Come on. Let's get ya back on land crazy girl. I felt her kissing along my neck.
I got us back onto the sand and I laid her on the towel.
"So where'd the fish nibble?"
"On my toes!"
I sat down on the sand and reached for her foot and brought it up to my mouth.
"What are you doing?" She giggled.
I chuckled and lightly kissed along each of her toes before answering, "I'm taking care of the boo boos that came from the fishies"

*Anna's POV *
I blushed heavily and cooed, "My knight in shining armor taking care of me"
"I'll always take care of you," he cooed lovingly.
I smiled up at him brightly, before I sat up and launched into his arms hugging him.
I giggled and kissed along his jaw before cuddling closely into him.
"You're comfy!" I giggled. I heard his chuckle ad he rubbed my back before asking, "Wanna go back to my house? We'll watch some TV? And make some food?"
I thought momentarily and nodded, "I'd like that. A lot."
He nodded with a smile and stood as he still held me. I squealed in surprise and clung to him.
"Slide down princess. I gotta pack everything up"
I whined and kissed his cheek before sliding off and dressing.

*Vince's POV *
Soon we were back at my house and the second both of us were through the door I pushed her against the door.
"Hey!" She gasped.
I chuckled and closed the distance crowding her in, with my hands on either side of her face before I bent down and kissed her deeply.
I moaned softly as I felt her arms wrap around me and pull me in deeply to her.
I could tell this was going to be the beginning of something beautiful.
