"Grace turn off the alarm." Jace sleepily whispers to me. In my ears I hear a ringing sound.
" I don't have an alarm." I mumble turning to the other side of the bed.
The noise gets louder as I start to wake up. Its a loud screeching sound. I open my eyes to see Layla looking at my bed in horror. There laughing at her is Mason. My eyes widen as I see them both at my door and I realize that Jace is still in my bed. I look over to Jace who is still lying down on my bed. As I try to get up something around my waist is pulling me down.
"Layla shut up, will you. I'm trying to sleep." I close my eyes once more as I try to get some shut eye. Jace just mumbles something incoherent. Just as I start to drift back asleep, the covers are ripped from me.
"Oh my God!" Layla and Mason yells loudly.I start to shiver from the covers that I DON'T have. I hear footsteps in the hall then nothing. Finally some peace and quiet.
"Oh my." I hear my mother say. This time I know something major is going down. If both my mother and my best-friends say that, then its worth waking up for.
I slowly start to open my eyes back to see three figures gaping at me. As I try to get out of bed I am pulled back to Jace. I widen my eyes again to see Jace's arm around my waist. I look up to my mom and Layla and mouth, "Help me." I just need to get out of the situation before-
"Hey Grace, someone just called for y-"
Oh my Sweet Baby Jesus.
"WHAT IS THIS!" A booming voice startles Jace awake.
"Dad, its nothing just Jace." I try to explain myself but this will only go one way. Me getting grounded and my poor ears will be on the floor.
"JACE WITH HIS ARM AROUND YOUR WAIST! SLEEPING IN YOUR BED! IN MY HOUSE!" Dad thunders. I can visibly see him shaking from anger. Jace face starts to pale.
"Dad, its not like that." I mumble.
"ARE YOU EVEN STILL A VIRGIN?!" Ok, that was low. Of course I'm a virgin, i not some slut like Britney.
"YES DAD! GOD!" I yell.
"HOW AM I EVEN SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE YOU? DID YOU AT LEAST USE PROTECTION-"
"DAD STOP!" I whine. I can see both Layla and Mason dying of laughter in the corner of my room. My mother is biting back hers while Jace and I pale from embarrassment.
"FOR THE LOVE OF- PUT ON A SHIRT BOY!" My dad started to yell. Jace scrambles for his shirt. I didn't even notice he was shirtless.
"Next time you snag my daughter at least by her dinner first." My dad sneers. HE WAS JOKING?! He is soooo dead.
"OUT!" I yell trying to avoid further embarrassment. They all left except for dad he just turns towards the door and stops.
"Just remember, it isn't a part without balloons."
"DAD STOP!" I yell with my head in my hands, ashamed to even see Jace's reaction. As soon as my dad left the room I turn to Jace who was still pale.
"I'm sorry my family tends to overreact." Jace mumbles a I agree then we both went downstairs.
We ate breakfast in silence then I told then I was going out for a jog. I went upstairs got my jogging gear and started to walk. My jogging is really me walking to the the pier buying ice cream then walking back. I'm not about physical labor.
As I got to the ice cream shop, I ordered a Banana Split. I sat down finished my ice cream then started to read on my IPod. When I finished my book, it was already dark out.
I started to walk out the shop and back home. I started to hear noises, and rustling of leaves and I couldn't help but feel like someone was staring at me. I turn around but see nobody. as I turn back around I hit I brick wall. I look up and I see a ski mask.
"Oh my God." I whisper.
He bends down to my ear and whispers, "Wrong."
As soon as I processed what he said, I blacked out.
The ear splitting scream was still ringing in my ear. I look over to where Becca was sitting to see her looking at her arms. The guy just put his cigarette in her arm! What is he crazy? I look over to Tamy to see her sobbing. I look over to Jace who is trying to comfort her. I look to the bad guy. He walks over to Tamy and picks her up. Tamy screams and thrashes everywhere. He struggles to get a good grip of her while she continues to squirm. He grabs her hair and she stills immediately. He tugs her into the backroom and closes the door.
I force my eyes open, not bearing to live through that dream again. Where am I? I look around and see that I am in the same warehouse that I had escaped from years ago. I look around to see the same door, and the same walls from years ago. I see the one light bulb hanging from the ceiling in the exact same place. I hear footsteps to my right. I snap my head to the right to see the same guy from before.
"What do you want with me?" I tried to say but it came out more of a muffled cry. It sounded more like, "Mpphhh." He walked straight up to me and lifted my chin. His eyes bore straight into my soul.
"You're probably wondering, why I brought you here? Why I would take the liberty to kidnap you and only you. I'm going to answer your questions. One, I brought you here to tell you some important things then if you comply I will let you go. Sounds fair right?" I simply nod my head not wanting to further aggravate the crazy guy further.
" I brought you here to ensure your silence." I scoff at what he said. Didn't he know that Jace already blabbed?
"Yes, I know that friend of yours already blabbed his little mouth out, but everyone else didn't. They are waiting on your go, they seem to think that you are their leader. So I have come to ensure you and your little group stays silent or else there will be a repeat of last time. Do you want that, princess?" To this I shake my head no. I definitely do not want a repeat of what happened.
With fear in my eyes I look him in his eyes. He laughs maniacally. He pats my cheek then he turns around. Just as he turns around he says,
"Of course you wouldn't want that. I will come back for you in an hour, princess."
He walks out and leaves me there in a damp room, by myself, tied up. How do I get myself out of this?
