YOU HAD JUST DROPPED ELI OF TO HIS HOUSE. You must admit, it was a beautiful house, he thanked you and got out of the car. You let out a breath that you didn't know you were holding as you watched him walk into his house.
Once he walked into his house and the door shut you began to drive back to your grandfathers house. Eli only lived a five minute drive away which was good if he was going to be your new friend.
Once you had arrived at the house, you got out of the car and walked into the house. You looked around to see that your grandfather still wasn't home yet. You shrugged and walked towards the kitchen where you made two sandwiches, you were quite hungry from the long drive you had earlier on that day.
You were about to eat them when your doorbell rang. You furrowed your eyebrows and slowly walked towards the door, you didn't know who it could be, your grandfather would of walked in seeming as it was his house, and you knew no one else was visiting, so who was at the door?
You went on your tip toes and looked through the peeper to see a mop of brown hair, you furrowed your eyebrows and opened the door.
"Didn't i just drop you off?" You asked him confused, he smiled awkwardly at you and nodded.
"i got into this tiny argument with my dad and uh, since you know we are now friends, i wanted to ask if you want to hang out?" He asked you slightly stuttering over his words.
"How did you know where i was staying?" You asked him confused, you opened the door to let him come in, he smiled slightly and walked in, you shut the door and walked to the kitchen hoping he would follow you, which he did.
"Well i overheard you say you were visiting your grandpa and well i get into trouble a lot with your dads old Jeep so your grandad takes me here whilst we wait for my dad to come and get me" He told you, you 'ohh'd' at him in response.
"I'd tell you that you are clever but it's just common sense" You shrugged at him, he chuckled in response.
"fair enough" He replied, you grinned and picked up a sandwich, you held it out for him to let him have it. He shook his head not wanting the sandwich, but as he shook his head his stomach rumbled.
"Dude, i just heard your stomach rumble, now eat the sandwich" You laughed as you offered him the sandwich again, he laughed and took it. You both ate your sandwiches.
"So, what do you wanna do?" You asked him after the both of you finished eating.
"want to go and walk around the woods?" He asked you which you nodded to.
"Sure" You shrugged, you got up and he followed, you walked out of the house, after Eli came out you locked the door and you both got into your car where you then drove the both of you to the Beacon preserve.
