“In the end, who will tell the story of your life and who will remember your last goodbye. Because it’s the end I'm not afraid...I'm not afraid to die.” The music of Black Veil Brides was blaring in Kristin's ears as she sat in her corner of the gymnasium. She knew the band was coming because her principal was walking in.

“Ms. Cohen get to class.” It was typical of her to look up, shake her head and close her eyes. Next thing Kristin knew her earphones were ripped out of her ears, which made her grow livid as the principal held up her iPod.

Kris stood, arms crossed as the pink strand of hair covered her eye. “What? My mother denied you again so now you're gonna be an ass? Give me my music!”

“Absolutely not. I've gotten concerns about this so called music.”

“Why? Because it's not happy shit?!” Kristin yelled. Mr. Booze really knew how to piss her off and there was no containing the anger in just a few minutes.

“Enough swearing! Detention and I'm calling your mother. I'm sure she'd enjoy the binder.”

“You son of a --” Kristin was cut off with a , “Excuse us, we interrupting something?”

Mr Booze instantly turned with a wide smile. “Of course not, Mr. Purdy.” Kristin was too still to say anything. “Please forgive my student. Over there is our stage and equipment, you may use them as you wish.”

“Thank you.” Ashley said though he'd given the smile to Kristin.

Kristin instantly grabbed her iPod and followed the man like a lost puppy dog while sending a message to her best friend Jadelyn, OMG they're here! She sent. It was after all, Jadelyn who introduced the men to her and influenced her music.

“You know how to make this equipment make not us sound like Justin Beiber?” CC asked, making Kristin laugh.

“Yeah, let me help y'all.” She said as the principal left and received her middle finger.

“So...what's up with the principal?” CC asked, obviously having heard most of the conversation.

“What's to say? I'm the typical punk around here. I make music instead of doing drugs. My mother is a slut who has destroyed more notebooks than anyone I know and has an obsession of cutting music out of my life, which he agrees with. As well as she won't sleep with him so it's somehow my fault. Simply put...he hates me.” She shrugged, ignoring her own rant before looking at the so called top of the line equipment. “Can y'all start playing something?” As the started she began taking care of their voices and even started rocking out.

“You are fucking amazing, Kris! I didn't think the Boozer was serious.”

Kris nodded at her friend. She jumped off the stage with one ear bud in. “I know right. And I swear they're telling me the end is near.”

“Hey, InThe End is your song. Just like Savior is mine.” Jadelyn's smile widened when she looked at Ashley. “So, when's the big speech on music isn't evil like this school believes it is?”

“Ten minutes. Shouldn't you girls be in class?” Jinxx teased.

“Simple, I'd rather listen to people who know what they're talking about.” Jadelyn said before pointing to Kristin. “This one, however, only knows how to go to music class.”

“Hey, Evan's uncle is pretty awesome.” She said sarcastically about the music teacher. She'd really only signed up when Evan told her that the guy would get her signed to a record label. “Anyways, I'll let y'all sound up. I'll be over there if you need me.”
